      Adidas is the Official Kit Sponsor for the Indian Cricket Team | Details Inside

      Board of Control for Cricket in India announce that the kit sponsorship deal with Adidas would run until March 2028 and that players would wear the new apparel for the first time when they face Australia in the World Test Championship final next month.

      Adidas will design and manufacture jerseys, kits, and other goods for India’s men’s, women’s, and Under-19 teams, as per BCCI secretary Jay Shah.

      Jay Shah confirm the arrangement with the German sportswear giant.

      The global sportswear brand will now design and manufacture jerseys, kits and other merchandise for India’s Men’s, Women’s, and U-19 teams

      As Board of Control for Cricket in India and adidas has announce a brand-new partnership as the kit sponsor for the BCCI.

      This contract runs through to March 2028, will give adidas exclusive rights for manufacturing kit across all formats of the game.

      Adidas will be the sole supplier for all match, training & travel wear for the BCCI- including the men’s, women’s & youth teams.

      Starting June 2023, Team India will be seen in the three stripes for the very first time and will debut their new kit during the World Test Championship Finals.

      Cricket remains the most popular sport in India, as well as experiencing continue expansion all over the world, sellout crowds, increase elite competition and grassroots growth.

      Indian cricket has also evolve exponentially with a world class youth system that reliably produces great athletes, a leading domestic league and a cricketing identity that is revered globally.

      This partnership between the BCCI and adidas will drive the sport forward both on and off the pitch with the sports brand bringing its innovative designs and expertise to Indian cricket.

      In addition to the Men’s and Women’s Senior National Cricket Team, adidas will also kit the India “A”

      Men’s and Women’s National Team, India “B” Men’s and Women’s National Team, India U-19 Men’s and Women’s National Team, their coaches, and staff.

      In 2020, the BCCI sign a three-year deal with the Mobile Premier League’s sports merchandise brand MPL Sports to replace American sportswear manufacturer Nike.

      Clothing brand Killer Jeans then step in as an interim sponsor after that deal end prematurely and their contract will expire on 31st May 2023, as per reports.
