Apple Working On ‘Privacy Glasses’ Patent Shows New Tech Let only iPhone Owner See what’s on Screen

Apple has filed a new patent that shows a potential feature on the iPhone that would let the owner see contents on the screen only through special glasses. This new privacy feature would let iPhone users hide what they are reading or watching from people around.

Apple is attempting to patent the future.

A new patent filed by Apple was publish by the US Patent & Trademark Office this week, as per reports.

The patent is about a privacy feature that would display iPhone contents through special glasses, allowing only the device owner to see what’s on the phone.

This feature is essentially a system of display that provides “vision-corrected graphical outputs” on an electronic device.

One of the potential features in store for Apple Glasses is called “Privacy Eyewear,” which would block out other people from seeing what’s on your screen.

As no glasses there is no access.

It’s no surprise that Apple is working on its little Appleverse to get a seat at the metaverse.

Apple is also reportedly working on improving Face ID.

The patent refers to a series of individual characteristics like hairstyles, beard, mustache, glasses and many more.

It’s important to note that patents do not always imply the use of such features in actual products.

Apple is developing an AR/VR headset, which was earlier report as delay due to production issues.

This product will come with WiFi 6 to get rid of the wired headset experience.

The device will compete with Facebook Oculus Quest which also supports WiFi 6.

Meta and Sony are working on new AR/VR headset devices with glasses to make contemporary tech more immersive on the user’s end.

Apple’s new patent also shows it could have plans to map additional features of an iPhone user’s face through the Face ID biometric.

The patent reveals a new system that will be able to distinguish between people on the basis of their hairstyles, beard, mustache, glasses, no glasses, reading glasses, sunglasses, among many other things.

These are just patents and they do not necessarily come to reality.

And even if they do, companies take a long time developing them for the masses.

But so much as the possibility of a technology like this is exciting.
