Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday declare a public holiday for the festivities of Chhath on 10th November 2021. The state government also direct the authorities to ensure that proper facilities are arrange for people to celebrate Chhath in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Said :
Chhath Puja, dedicate to the Sun God, as it celebrate widely across north India, especially in Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh.
Every year many people celebrate Chhath by paying oblation to the Sun God on the occasion of Chhath.
Also many state government across India have declare 10th November 2021 as a public holiday on the account of Chhath Puja.

Bihar
Chhath is a festival which is mainly celebrate by the people of Bihar and that is why the state government has declare 10th November 2021 as a public holiday.
Delhi
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal government in Delhi also declare 10th November 2021 as a public holiday on the account of Chhath Puja.
The state government has also made arrangements at 800 ghats across Delhi for devotees to celebrate the festival.
Uttarakhand
The Uttarakhand government also declare as a public holiday for 10th November 2021.
Uttarakhand givernment’s order will not apply to treasuries and sub treasuries.
Jharkhand
After Bihar, Chhath Puja is also quite popular in Jharkhand and the state government has declare a public holiday for 10th November 2021.
