Disney+ Hotstar unveile 18 Hotstar Specials and Multiplex titles for the next 1 year.

The 18 new Hotstar Specials are brimming with big stars from across India, we have Ajay Devgn, Sushmita Sen, Shabana Azmi, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Saif Ali Khan, Kay Kay Menon, Shefali Shah, Kirti Kulhari, Dino Morea, Siddharth, Sathyaraj, Sarath Kumar, Tisca Chopra, Arjun Kapoor, Richa Chadha, Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam, Kunal Kapoor, Javed Jaffrey, Shashank Arora, Rajesh Tailang, and Pratik Gandhi among many others.
The new of Disney+ Hotstar originals come from directors and showrunners such as Nikkhil Advani, Neeraj Pandey, Ram Madhvani, Vipul Shah, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Habib Faisal, Nagesh Kukonoor, Rajesh Mapuskar, Siddharth Kumar Tewary, Mitakshara Kumar, and Vikrant Pawar. As you can tell from the talent involved, Disney+ Hotstar is further pushing into regional offerings, something Rayan acknowledged, that they will begin with Tamil and Telugu before venturing beyond.

Disney+ Hotstar Unveils New Plans
Disney+ Hotstar announce all content on Disney+ Hotstar, including Disney+ originals and Hollywood movies and TV shows from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, HBO, FX, Showtime, 20th Century, and Searchlight Pictures, that were previously exclusive to Disney+ Hotstar Premium will now be available to everyone.
It means Disney+ Hotstar VIP is no more available.
Starting from 1st September 2021 the Disney+ Hotstar will let subscribers to choose from three new plans.
- “Mobile” at Rs. 499 per year,
- “Super” at Rs. 899 per year,
- “Premium” at Rs. 1,499 per year.
The plan starts up from VIP’s Rs. 399 but Premium pricing is unchanged.
And if users were already on Disney+ Hotstar Premium then nothing much changes for them, except the fact that you can now stream on four devices simultaneously which was up from two previously.
While 4K is still exclusive to Premium.
Disney+ Hotstar Super lets you stream on two devices at the same time, in up to high-definition (HD) video quality.
Disney+ Hotstar Mobile will restrict you to a single mobile-only device but you will still enjoy HD video quality.
Users who are on Disney+ Hotstar Super and Disney+ Hotstar Premium can access the service on all supported platforms like website, mobile, and living room devices.
