At 162PS, the 1262cc liquid-cooled L-twin motor is 3PS more powerful than before.
The Ducati Diavel 1260 BS6 makes the same torque at 129Nm.
Ducati claim engine offers a flat torque curve right from low to medium revs, which should ensure brisk and responsive performance.
The Ducati Diavel 1260 BS6 kerb weight has also gone up 5kg to 249kg due to the extra emission-restrictive equipment.
Ducati Diavel 1260 BS6 engine is rein in by the same set of electronic aids as before, including three riding modes, a three-level cornering ABS, eight levels of traction control and wheelie control, cruise control, and even a launch control system.
Which makes the Diavel 1260 one of the most loaded cruisers.
The Ducati Diavel 1260 BS6 is suspend on a fully adjustable 50mm invert fork and a rebound and preload adjustable monoshock.
Ducati Diavel 1260 BS6 ‘S’ variant gets a more premium, fully adjustable Ohlins suspension at both ends, Brembo M50 front calipers, and differently designed wheels.
Ducati Diavel 1260 BS6 standard variant gets Brembo M4.32 radial calipers grabbing the large dual 320mm discs up front.
Both varient of Ducati Diavel 1260 BS6 get the same rear 265mm disc with Brembo caliper at the rear.
Ducati has not offered any tangible feature to justify the significant premium over the BS4 Diavel.
