Google Maps Rollout New Feature which Allow to Draw, Rename Missing Roads.
Google will now updating its map to allow users to add missing roads, rename or delete incorrect ones.
This new updated tool will be rolling out over the coming months in more than 80 countries.
If user tries to add a missing road can only drop a pin where the road should be and type in the road name to submit that information to Google.
This tool would help to make it easier not only add missing roads but also to make corrections such as fixing a road’s name and its direction.
Google will monitors the corrections to make sure that they are accurate.
Google will display a screen where warning display as it does not want a bike path to be mark as a road, or for someone to make a road intended to injured people.
And it will take about seven days for the company to review the submission.
Google Maps will also get a new feature ”photo updates”.
Which will allow to share small details about a place without doing full review.
It will be possible to add images of a location and also see recent photos with text snippets submitted by others.
