Hero MotoCorp announce that its first electric two-wheeler will debut by March 2022. The Indian two-wheeler Hero MotoCorp has file as many as 6 trademarks for ‘Vida’ which is likely to be a new subsidiary for Hero MotoCorp’s upcoming EV venture.

All the 6 filings have file on 11th November 2021 and are in the preliminary stage
The new sub-brand of Hero MotoCorp will be purely to electric two-wheelers set to be manufacture at the brand’s upcoming plant in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh.
Hero MotoCorp’s new venture could benefit from its investment in Ather Energy as well as partnership with Taiwanese brand Gogoro Electric, known for its battery-swapping technology.
As electric two-wheeler segment is gradually but surely picking up pace in India.
