Hero Vida V1 Electric Scooter Launched in India. The Hero MotoCorp announce the launch of its much-awaited electric two-wheeler brand, Vida. Hero, the world’s largest two-wheeler producer has partner with Gogoro, a Taiwanese firm to develop the electric scooter.
The new Hero Vida V1 has develop by testing over 1,006 prototypes of the scooter and child parts for more than 200,000 km in varied testing conditions.
Hero Vida V1 e-scooter will come in two variants:
- Hero V1 Plus,
- Hero V1 Pro.
Price in India
- Hero Vida V1 Plus price set at Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom)
- Hero Vida V1 Pro price set at Rs 1.59 lakh (ex-showroom)
The Vida V1 also gets a buyback scheme with an assurance of a 70% buyback value for 18 months of ownership.
Hero Vida V1 Electric Scooter will be available for test rides for as long as 3 days.
Hero Vida V1 Electric Scooter will also be available via the lease option.
Booking will open online for select cities, Bengaluru, Jaipur and New Delhi on 10th October 2022 against a token amount of Rs 2,499.
Hero Vida V1 Electric Scooter deliveries will commence in the second week of December.

Battery and Charging
The Hero Vida V1 will offer two charging options, a 15A home charger and a fast charger.
Hero Vida V1 Electric Scooter offers the option of battery swapping, as Hero launches its own charging grid, Vida Charging Network, across the country with the new Vida chain of outlets.
The Hero Vida V1 Pro gets a 3.94kWh battery pack while the Hero Vida V1 Plus gets a smaller 3.44kWh unit.
The IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) range of the e-scooters are 165km and 143km respectively.
The removable battery pack on the V1 claims a fast charging time of less than 65min to go from 0-80 percent.
Storage
Hero Vida V1 Electric Scooter storage compartment is a modular unit.
The under-seat area has the swappable battery and behind it is the storage compartment by a removable fairing and pillion seat.
