Honda City e:HEV Hybrid Electric Sedan Launched in India. Honda introduce its latest hybrid powertrain on the fifth-gen City sedan. Honda’s self-charging hybrid system in the City employs a petrol engine, two electric motors and a battery.
President and CEO of Honda Cars India Takuya Tsumura said that the introduction of the model marks the start of the company’s journey towards the introduction of new-age electrified models in the country.

Honda City e:HEV Hybrid Electric Sedan is expect a price tag of about Rs 18.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
Honda is offering the City Hybrid with a standard 3-year/ unlimited km warranty and even an 8-year warranty on its battery pack.
Extended warranty options are 5-year/ unlimited km or a 10-year/ 1.2 lakh km.
Honda City e:HEV Hybrid Electric Sedan bookings are underway, and will be going on sale in May.

Honda City e:HEV Hybrid Electric Sedan engine is a 1.5-litre unit tuned to an output of 98PS and the motor that drives the wheels has a peak rating of 109PS.

The Honda Sensing safety features include collision mitigation braking system (CMBS), adaptive cruise control, road departure mitigation (RDM), lane keeping assist system (LKAS) and auto high-beam.
The Honda City e:HEV Hybrid Electric Sedan also comes equip with 37 connected features which now work with smart watch devices in addition to already existing integration with Alexa and OK Google.
