State Bank of India (SBI) gives you to change your mobile number by visiting the bank branch if you live away from your home branch in a different city.

How to change mobile number through Internet Banking in SBI?
- Go to SBI website.
- Log in to your SBI account.
- Click on Accounts & Profile.
- Select Profile from menu.
- Click on Personal Details/Mobile.
- Page of Personal Details will appear.
- Enter your Profile Password.
- Click on Submit.
- Page will appear displaying your Name, Email ID and registered mobile number.
- Click on link Change Mobile Number-Domestic only (Through OTP/ATM/Contact Centre).
- Then you will see Personal Details-Mobile Number Update with three tabs Create Request, Cancel Request and Status.
- After that Enter your new mobile number and again to confirm.
- Click on Submit.
- Verify your mobile number 9876543210.
- Click Ok.
- Then page will appear with three different options for approval on how you want to change your mobile number.
- By OTP on both the mobile numbers
- IRATA: Internet Banking Request Approval through ATM
- Approval through Contact Centre
Internet Banking Request Approval (IRATA) through ATM.
- Select Internet Banking Request Approval through ATM (IRATA) option.
- Click on Proceed.
- Select the account in which you possess the debit card.
- Click on Proceed.
- All your ATM cards associated with the selected account will be displayed.
- Click on Proceed.
- Payment Gateway will be displayed.
- Enter all the required card details.
- Click on the Proceed.
- Message will be displayed Thanks for registering mobile number with us.
- The status of your request is pending.
- Complete the registration process according to the option selected by you.
- An SMS will come with the reference number and updated mobile will be sent to your new mobile number.
- After getting this SMS visit any SBI ATM, swipe your card.
- Select the Services.
- Tab and input your PIN.
- Select Others
- Tab on the ATM screen and choose the Internet Banking Request Approval.
- Update the 10-digit reference number for approval of the request.
- You will receive a confirmation message.
