How to delete & hide apps on your iPhone with iOS 14.

If you’ve often found scrolling through pages of apps you never use then you can delete, hide, or offload apps on your iPhone.

You can delete or uninstall an app on any version of iOS.

In iOS 14 there’s an additional option to hide an app from your Home Screen and keeping it in your App Library.

How to Delete Apps on iPhone?

1. Go to the app you want to delete.
2. Press and hold your finger down on its icon.
3. In the pop-up menu, select Remove App.
4. Select Delete App in the next pop-up.
5. Tap Delete again.

1. Go to your Home Screen.
2. Go to the app you want to delete.
3. Press and hold your finger down on its icon.
4. In the menu that appears Tap Rearrange Apps.
5. All your apps will start fade in and out.
6. Small X icons will appear at the top of all the apps that you can delete.
7. Tap the X on any app you want to delete.
8. A menu will open.
9. Tap Delete to delete the app.

1. Go to your Home Screen.
2. Press and firmly hold the icon of the app you want to delete.
3. It may take one or two seconds.
4. Wait for all the icons on your screen to begin fade in and out.
5. Tap the X that appears at the top-left corner of the app you want to delete.
6. Tap Delete.

How to Hide Apps on an iPhone in iOS 14

2. Press and hold your finger down on its icon.
3. Select Remove App.
4. Then select Remove from Home Screen.
5. The app will now be hidden from your Home Screen and moved to your App Library.

How to Offload an App on iPhone?

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap the General.
3. Tap iPhone Storage.
4. Scroll down to find a list of apps and tap the one in question.
5. Tap Offload App.
6. Confirm by hitting Offload App.
7. This will delete the app, but keep its documents and data.
