Apple Cash the virtual wallet that stores your credit cards on your phone to use in stores. Apple Cash lets you send money to your friends quickly and easily. Your friends also need to have a compatible Apple device and need to link it to their bank account.
Apple Cash is also available in a limited form on Apple Watch with watchOS 4.2 or later as well as on any Mac with Touch ID.
How to Setup Apple Cash?
Follow These Steps :
- An iPhone 6 or iOS 11.2 or later.
- Any iPad with Touch or Face ID running on iOS 11.2 or newer.
- You’ll have to add an debit card from a bank to your Apple Wallet.
- You’ll need to enable two-factor authentication for your Apple ID.
- You have to be signed into iCloud on any device you want to send or receive money on.
How to Enable Apple Cash?
Turn on Apple Cash in your iPhone or iPad’s Settings app.
Follow These Steps :
- Open the Settings app and scroll down to tap Wallet & Apple Pay.
- Enter your Apple ID password.
- Tap Apple Cash or Apple Pay Cash under Payment Cards.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to set up your Apple Cash Card.
- Now you can send or receive money.
- It’ll automatically be loaded to this virtual card.
NOTE : You can transfer the money on the card to your bank at any time you’ll only be charged a fee if you need to transfer funds instantly.
This fee is 1% of the funds you transfer
How to Use Apple Cash?
There are two ways to Use Apple Cash :
- Add the money yourself,
- Receive money from someone else.
How to Add Money to your Apple Cash Card using your iPhone or iPad?
Follow These Steps :
- Open the Wallet app.
- Tap your new Apple Cash card.
- Then tap the three dots for menu.
- Tap Add Money below the name of the card.
- Tap Add in the top-right corner.
- To transfer money off your card and back into your bank account or onto your debit card Tap the Transfer to Bank button.
- Now you can send money.
How to Send/Request Money with Apple Cash on iPhone or iPad?
Start or open a chat with the person you want to send money to or request from. Both need to have a compatible Apple ID and device too.
Follow These Steps :
- Tap the apps button to bring up a list of apps you can use in Messages.
- Tap the Apple Pay button.
- Enter the amount you want to send or request.
- Tap Pay or Request.
If you to request money then your payment won’t go through until the other person accepts it on their end.
If you’re sending money then Follow This Step :
- The payment will appear in the text box.
- Double check that the amount is correct.
- Tap the send button.
- Verify with your Face ID, Touch ID, or Apple ID password.
