How to Use WhatsApp Stickers in Pay Mode

WhatsApp recently introduce a range of stickers in payments to make transacting money a fun task. The WhatsApp even collaborate with five Indian women artists to offer a new pack of Payments stickers for its users in India.

These stickers are built on various cultural expressions related to money exchange.

These stickers have been available on WhatsApp for a long time.

Artists that made these payment sticker packs include illustrator Anjali Mehta, sketch artist Anuja Pothireddy, illustrator and muralist Neethi, illustrator and artist Osheen Silva, and graphic designer Mira Felicia Malhotra.

To send payments to a WhatsApp contact the user must be sign up for payments and have link the UPI bank account.

This can be done by tap the three dots icon on the top right corner of the home screen and going into the Payments section.

When set up is done then WhatsApp Payment stickers can be add while sending money to a user, in place of writing a text message.

How to Use WhatsApp Stickers in Pay Mode?

Follow These Steps :

1. Open WhatsApp and go to the chat of the user who you want to send money
2. Click on the Rupee icon in the text bar
3. A new page will open up asking you the amount of money you want to transfer.
4. Enter the amount.
5. Below the amount box, an option to ‘Add a note’ appears.
6. Click on the smiley option.
7. Select sticker button.
8. Users can add stickers by clicking on + icon on the top right corner of the window.
9. When the sticker pack is downloaded, it will show up in the sticker section.
10. Select the sticker you want to send with the money.
11. Click on Next.
12. Click on Send Payment.
13. Enter the UPI code, and the money will be sent to the user.
14. The notification will go to the user with the sticker attached to it.
