      ICC Announced Venue and Date for World Test Championship 2025 Final | Details Inside

      International Cricket Council (ICC) on 3rd September 2024 announce the Lord’s Stadium as the venue for World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 final. This one-off Test will be play from 11th to 15th June 2024.

      16th June 2024 has been added as the reserve day for the final clash. 

      For the first two editions, the Kennington Oval has been use as the venue for the WTC finals where New Zealand and Australia won the trophy after beating India.

      ICC CEO Geoff Allardice is expecting a high demand for tickets for WTC final. 

      Geoff Allardice Said :

      “The ICC World Test Championship Final has quickly become one of the most anticipated events in the cricketing calendar and we are pleased to announce the dates for the 2025 edition,”.

      “It’s a testament to the enduring appeal of Test cricket, which continues to captivate fans around the world. Tickets will be in high demand so I would encourage fans to register their interest now to ensure they are in with a chance of attending the Ultimate Test next year.”

      Points Table of WTC 2023-25

      As of now, the finalists of WTC 2023 final, India and Australia are the top two rank sides on WTC 2023-25 points table.

      Ahead of the Test series against Bangladesh, India are at the top with with six wins from nine games.

      Australia have eight wins from 12 Tests but a lower winning percentage.

      They are follow by WTC 2021 final winner New Zealand who have three wins from six Tests.

      England are not rule out of the fray either with eight wins from 15 games.

      They are follow by South Africa (5th), Bangladesh (6th), Sri Lanka (7th), Pakistan (8th) and West Indies (9th).
