      Indian Army Issues Notification for Recruitment under Agnipath scheme | Indian Air Force Agnipath Recruitment 2022

      Indian Army issue a notification for induction of soldiers under the Agnipath military recruitment scheme. The Army said the online registration on the force’s recruitment website is mandatory for all the job aspirants under the new model.

      It said the online registration will commence from July.

      What is Agnipath Scheme?

      The Union Cabinet led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 14th June 2022 support the transformative Agnipath scheme for the enlistment of youth in the Indian Armed Forces who after induction will be refer to as Agniveers.

      The Agnipath Scheme is a new Human Resource Policy of the Army, Navy, and Air Force.

      The Army said ‘Agniveers’ would form a distinct rank in the Indian Army, which would be different from any other existing ranks.In a detail note on the scheme, the Army last night said ‘Agniveers’ will be bar from disclosing classified information gain during the four-year service period to any unauthorise person or source under the Official Secrets Act, 1923.

      “With the introduction of this scheme, the enrolment of soldiers in the the regular cadre of the Indian Army, except technical cadres of medical branch, will be available only to those personnel who have complete their engagement period as Agniveer,” it said.

      The Army said the release of an Agniveer at own request prior to completion of terms of engagement is not permitted.

      However, in most exceptional cases, personnel enroll under this scheme may be release, if sanction by the competent authority,” it said.

      The Agnipath scheme, announce on 14th June 2022, provides for the recruitment of youths between the age bracket of 17-and-half years to 21 for only four years with a provision to retain 25 per cent of them for 15 more years.

      Government extend the upper age limit to 23 years for recruitment in 2022. Protests have erupted in many states against the Centre’s scheme.

      The personnel to be recruit under the new scheme will be known as ‘Agniveers’.

      The Army said the new recruits will be subject to the provisions of the Army Act, 1950, and will be liable to go wherever ordered by land, sea or air.

      It said a “distinctive insignia” will be worn by the Agniveers on their uniform during their service period and that detailed instructions on it will be issue separately.

      The Army said base on organisational requirements and policies, ‘Agniveers’, on completion of their engagement period in each batch, will be offer an opportunity to apply for enrolment in the regular cadre.

      As per the document released by the Army :

      “These applications will be considered in a centralised manner by the Army based on objective criteria, including performance during their engagement period and not more than 25 per cent of each specific batch of Agniveers will be enrolled in regular cadre post completion of their four-year engagement period,”.

      “Agniveers so enrolled as regular cadre would be required to serve for a further engagement period of 15 years and will be governed by terms and conditions of service (of Junior Commissioned Officer/ Other Ranks) currently in vogue,”.

      The Army said the Agniveers will not have any right to be select after completion of their four-year tenure.

      As part of the enrolment process, each ‘Agniveer’ will be require to formally accept all terms and conditions of the ‘Agnipath’ scheme.

      For personnel below the age of 18 years, the enrolment form will be require to be sign by the parents or guardians, according to the document.

      The ‘Agniveers’ will be eligible for 30 days leave in a year as against 90 days for those in regular service.

      Medical leave will be granted based on medical advice.

      The Army said 30% of the monthly salary of the Agniveers will be compulsorily deposited in a corpus and an equal amount will be contribute by the government.

      Indian Air Force Agnipath Recruitment 2022

      Indian Air force has release a notification for various posts under Agneepath Scheme.

      As per the notice, recruitment rallies shall be conduct at recognize technical institutes such as Industrial Training Institutes, NSQF etc.

      The appointment as airmen into the regular cadre of the Indian Air Force except for Medical tradesmen will be available only to that person who has complete their engagement period as Agniveers.

      It would be a distinct rank in the IAF, different from any other existing rank.

      Indian Air Force will start the online applications for Agneepath Scheme as Agniveer Vayu under Intake 01/2022 from 24th June 2022 to 5th July 2022 on agnipathvayu.cdac.in.

      The selection test is schedule to be held from 24th July 2022 onwards.

      The recruiting body has yet not release the vacancy details.

      Eligibility

      Candidates must have Class 10th /matriculation passing certificate; intermediate/10+2 or equivalent mark sheet or 3 Yrs Engineering Diploma Final Year Mark sheet and Matriculation mark sheet or 2 Yrs Vocational course mark sheet and marks sheets of non-vocational.

      Age Limit

      Candidates must be between the age group of 17.5 years to 21 years

      Selection Criteria

      Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of online test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Adaptability Test, Adaptability Test-II and Medical Examination.

      How to Apply for Indian Air Force Agnipath Recruitment 2022

      Candidates are require to visit the official website of https://agnipathvayu.cdac.in/AV/ or the Indian Air Force Agnipath Application Form 2022 available on iaf website https://indianairforce.nic.in/.

      The applications must be fill from between 24th June 2022 (1000h) to 05th July 2022 (1700h).

      Exam Fee

      The candidates applying for the above recruitment policy will have to pay exam fee of Rs.250/ while registering for the online exam.

      The exam fee can be paid by using Debit Cards/ Credit Cards/Internet Banking through the payment gateway or paid by Challan payment at any Axis Bank Branch.
