      Aashirvaad

      ITC entered the branded Atta market with the launch of Aashirvaad Atta in bengal and Chandigarh on 26 May 2002.

      The product is now available all over India.

      The Aashirvaad package is PET Poly, with the design showcasing the farming process undertaken in the rural heartland of India in the form of a Madhubani painting.

      Aditya Birla Payments Bank

      Aditya Birla Payments Bank Limited (ABPB) was a payments bank started as a joint venture by Aditya Birla Nuvo Ltd. and Idea Cellular. 

      Launched on February 22, 2018, it is the fourth payments bank to begin operations since issuance of licenses to 11 firms by the Reserve Bank of India in August 2015. 

      Payments Banks are a special category of banks that can accept deposits of up to 1 lakh but cannot give loans or credit cards.

      On 20 July 2019, Aditya Birla Payments Bank announced that it would be shutting down operations subject to the receipt of requisite regulatory consents and approval.

      Air Deccan

      Air Deccan is an Indian regional commuter airline currently operating from Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

      It flies to a total of four destinations using Beech 1900D aircraft, as of November 2019.

      Air India

      Air India is the flag carrier airline of India, headquartered at New Delhi.

      It is owned by Air India Limited, a government-owned enterprise, and operates a fleet of Airbus and Boeing aircraft serving 102 domestic and international destinations.

      The airline has its hub at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, alongside several focus cities across India.

      Air India is the largest international carrier out of India with an 18.6% market share.

      Over 60 international destinations are served by Air India across four continents.

      The airline became the 27th member of Star Alliance on 11 July 2014.

      The airline was founded by J. R. D. Tata as Tata Airlines in 1932.

      Tata himself flew its first single-engine de Havilland Puss Moth, carrying air mail from Karachi to Bombay’s Juhu aerodrome and later continuing to Madras (currently Chennai).

      After World War II, it became a public limited company and was renamed as Air India.

      On 21 February 1960, it took delivery of its first Boeing 707 named Gauri Shankar and became the first Asian airline to induct a jet aircraft in its fleet.

      In 2000–01, attempts were made to privatise Air India and from 2006 onwards, it suffered losses after its merger with Indian Airlines.

      Air India also operates flights to domestic and Asian destinations through its subsidiaries Alliance Air and Air India Express.

      Air India’s mascot is the Maharajah (Emperor) and the logo consists of a flying swan with the wheel of Konark inside it.

      Air Ink

      AIR-INK is a proprietary brand of ink and composites products made by condensing carbon-based gaseous effluents generated by air pollution due to incomplete combustion of fossil fuels. 

      Founded by Graviky Labs, a spin-off group of MIT Media Lab, AIR-INK produces its materials through a step-by-step process which primarily involves capturing of emissions, separation of carbon from the emissions, and then mixing of this carbon with different types of oils and solutions to achieve advanced material properties.

      It uses a patented device and technique called ‘KAALINK’ to carry out the filtration of soot, which contains carbon and other polluting agents like heavy metals and Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon.

      AIR-INK is marketed as a solution to air pollution and its negative effects on human life, by allowing the print industry to offset its carbon.

      Dubbed as “the first ink made out of recycled air pollution,”

      its products were used in June 2016 in association with Heineken to create street art and murals in Hong Kong’s Sheung Wan district. 

      30–50 minutes of car pollution can supply enough carbon to fill one AIR-INK pen.

      Airtel digital TV

      Bharti Telemedia Limited Airtel digital TV is an Indian direct-broadcast satellite service provider owned and operated by Bharti Airtel. 

      Its satellite service, launched in October 2008, transmits digital satellite television and audio to households in India. 

      It has a total subscriber base of 10.07 million as of 30 March 2015.

      Airtel Payments Bank

      Airtel Payments Bank is a public limited company with its headquarters in New Delhi, India. 

      The company is a subsidiary of Bharti Airtel.

      It is the first company in India to receive a payments bank license from the Reserve Bank of India and it became the first live payments bank in the country.

      On April 11, 2016 the Reserve Bank of India issued the license under Section 22 (1) of Banking Regulation Act, 1949 to Airtel Payments Bank.

      Airtel Payments Bank is a joint venture between Bharti Airtel Ltd. and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd..

      Kotak Mahindra Bank holds 19.9% stake in the Airtel Payments Bank.

      Alkem Laboratories

      Alkem Laboratories is a multinational pharmaceutical company headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra that manufactures and sells pharmaceutical generics, formulations and nutraceuticals in India.

      Ambuja Cements

      Ambuja Cements Limited, formerly known as Gujarat Ambuja Cement Limited, is an Indian major cement producing company.

      The Group’s market cement and clinker for both domestic and export markets.

      Amco Batteries

      AMCO Batteries Limited is an automobile and commercial Battery manufacturing company headquartered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. 

      It is a part of Rs. 15,000-crore Amalgamations Group, one of India’s biggest light engineering groups in India. 

      Started in year 1932, today AMCO is the leading supplier of two-wheeler batteries to companies like Honda, Hero Motor Corp, Bajaj Auto, TVS, Yamaha, Royal Enfield, Mahindra Two Wheelers etc.

      It also supplies four-wheeler batteries to TAFE Tractors, Eicher Tractors, Sonalika Tractors etc.

      The product profile of AMCO includes Automotive, Inverter, Genset and UPS Batteries.

      It manufactures wide variety of batteries across all these product categories.

      AMCO is a market leader in two-wheeler battery segment with most of the two-wheelers coming with AMCO Battery’s O.E, fitment.

      The company also manufactures four-wheeler Batteries with product range consisting of Factory Charged, Dry Charged and Maintenance Free batteries.

      Amrapali Jewels

      Amrapali Jewels, is a jewellery house founded in the year 1978 by Rajiv Arora and Rajesh Ajmera in Jaipur.

      Amrapali designs, produces and distributes tribal, fine and uncut gemstone jewellery.

      The brand has stores in India, Pakistan and London. 

      The brand also operates a museum of Indian jewellery in Jaipur.

      Amrutanjan Healthcare

      Amrutanjan Healthcare Limited is an Indian pharmaceutical company established by Kasinadhuni Nageswara Rao in Mumbai in 1893.

      Amul

      Amul, is an Indian dairy cooperative society, based at Anand in the state of Gujarat.

      Formed in 1946, it is a cooperative brand managed by a cooperative body, the Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd. (GCMMF), which today is jointly owned by 3.6 million milk producers in Gujarat. 

      Amul spurred India’s White Revolution, which made the country the world’s largest producer of milk and milk products.

      Amul was spearheaded by Tribhuvandas Patel under the guidance of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

      As a result, Kaira District Milk Union Limited was born in 1946 (later renamed to Amul).

      Tribhuvandas became the founding chairman of the organization and led it until his retirement in 70s.

      He hired Dr. Verghese Kurien in 1949.

      He convinced Dr. Kurien to stay and help with the mission. 

      Under the chairmanship of Tribhuvandas, Dr. Kurien was initially the general manager and helped guide the technical and marketing efforts of Amul.

      Dr. Kurien was the chairman of Amul briefly after Tribhuvandas Patel died in 1994.

      Kurien, founder-chairman of the GCMMF for more than 30 years (1973–2006), is credited with the success of Amul’s marketing. 

      Amul has ventured into markets overseas.

      Apollo Tyres

      Apollo Tyres Ltd is the world’s seventh largest tyre manufacturer, with annual consolidated revenues of ₹172.76 billion (US$2.46 billion) in March 2018. 

      It was incorporated in 1972.

      Its first plant was commissioned in Perambra, Thrissur, Kerala, India.

      The company now has four manufacturing units in India, one in Netherlands and one in Hungary.

      It has a network of nearly 5,000 dealerships in India, of which over 2,500 are exclusive outlets.

      It gets 69% of its revenues from India, 26% from Europe and 5% from other geographies.

      Apollo announced its entry into the two-wheeler tyre segment with contract manufacturing in March 2016. 

      In November 2016, the company signed a MoU with the Government of Andhra Pradesh to set up a new factory in Andhra Pradesh to manufacture tyres for two-wheelers and pick-up trucks.

      The company’s second plant in Europe, was inaugurated by the Hungarian Prime Minister, Viktor Orban, in April 2017.

      Apollo Tyres opens its first service centre in Malaysia.

      Arre

      Arré (stylized as Arré) is an Indian OTT platform based in Mumbai. 

      It produces and publishes videos, audio series, web series, documentaries, text and doodles through its online channel. 

      Founded by former Network 18 and TV 18 executives B. Sai Kumar, Ajay Chacko, and Sanjay Ray Chaudhari, it is a content-based startup and was launched in April 2016.

      Ashok Leyland

      Ashok Leyland is an Indian automobile company headquartered in Chennai, India. It is owned by the Hinduja Group.

      Founded in 1948, it is the second largest commercial vehicle manufacturer in India, fourth largest manufacturer of buses in the world and 10th largest manufacturer of trucks globally.

      Operating nine plants, Ashok Leyland also makes spare parts and engines for industrial and marine applications.

      It sold approximately 140,000 vehicles (M&HCV + LCV) in FY 2016.

      It is the second largest commercial vehicle company in India in the medium and heavy commercial vehicle (M&HCV) segment, with a market share of 32.1% (FY 2016).

      With passenger transportation options ranging from 10 seaters to 74 seaters (M&HCV = LCV), Ashok Leyland is a market leader in the bus segment.

      In the trucks segment Ashok Leyland primarily concentrates on the 16 to 25-ton range.

      Ashok Leyland has a presence in the entire truck range, from 7.5 to 49 tons.

      Asia MotorWorks

      Asia Motor Works Ltd (AMW) is an Indian automotive company that manufactures commercial vehicles, auto components, fully built vehicles and forged components.

      Founded in 2002, AMW has won Commercial Vehicle (CV) of the year 2008 from NDTV Profit Car and Bike Awards & “CV Innovation of the Year” for 2010 from CV Magazine & Zee Business News.

      Asian Paints

      Asian Paints Limited is an Indian multinational paint company headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra. 

      The company is engaged in the business of manufacturing, selling and distribution of paints, coatings, products related to home decor, bath fittings and providing of related services.

      Asian Paints is India’s largest and Asia’s third largest paints corporation.

      As of 2015, it has the largest market share with 54.1% in the Indian paint industry. 

      Asian Paints is the holding company of Berger International.

      Aurobindo Pharma

      Aurobindo Pharma Limited is a pharmaceutical manufacturing company headquartered in HITEC City, Hyderabad, India.

      The company manufactures generic pharmaceuticals and active pharmaceutical ingredients.

      The company’s area of activity includes six major therapeutic/product areas: antibiotics, anti-retrovirals, cardiovascular products, central nervous system products, gastroenterologicals, and anti-allergics. 

      The company markets these products in over 125 countries. 

      Its marketing partners include AstraZeneca and Pfizer.

      Axis Bank

      Axis Bank is the third-largest Indian bank offering a wide assortment of financial products.

      The bank has its head office in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

      It has 4,800 branches, 17,801 ATMs and 4,917 cash recyclers spread across the country as of 31 March 2020 and nine international offices.

      The bank employs over 1,30,000 people and had a market capitalization of ₹2.31 trillion (US$32 billion) (as on 31 March 2020). 

      It sells financial services to large and mid-size corporates, SME and retail businesses.

      As of 30 June 2016, 30.81% shares are owned by promoters and promoter group (United India Insurance Company Limited, Oriental Insurance Company Limited, National Insurance Company Limited, New India Assurance Company Ltd, GIC, LIC and UTI). 

      The remaining 69.19% shares are owned by mutual funds, FIIs, banks, insurance companies, corporate bodies and individual investors among others.

      B

      Babool

      Babool is a toothpaste brand which was launched in India by Balsara Hygiene in 1987. 

      Babool is made from the bark of the Babool tree, which has traditionally been used to clean teeth in India.

      The brand was positioned as an economic toothpaste with the tagline “Babool Babool paisa vasool”. 

      Babool was relaunched with the tagline “Begin a great day, the Babool way” in 2002, when Babool was Balsara’s biggest brand. 

      In 2005, Babool was sold by Balsara to Dabur along with other Balsara toothpaste brands Promise and Meswak in a ₹1.43 billion (US$20 million) deal.

      As of 2007, the Babool brand was valued at ₹1 billion (US$14 million).

      Bajaj Auto

      Bajaj Auto Limited is an Indian global two-wheeler company and three-wheeler manufacturing company based in Pune, Maharashtra. 

      It manufactures motorcycles, scooters and auto rickshaws.

      Bajaj Auto is a part of the Bajaj Group.

      It was founded by Jamnalal Bajaj in Rajasthan in the 1940s.

      It is based in Pune, Maharashtra, with plants in Chakan (Pune), Waluj (near Aurangabad) and Pantnagar in Uttarakhand.

      The oldest plant at Akurdi (Pune) now houses the R&D centre ‘Ahead’.

      Bajaj Auto is the world’s third-largest manufacturer of motorcycles and the second-largest in India.

      It is the world’s largest three-wheeler manufacturer.

      On May 2015, its market capitalisation was 64,000 crore (US$9.0 billion), making it India’s 23rd largest publicly traded company by market value.

      The Forbes Global 2000 list for the year 2012 ranked Bajaj Auto at 1,416.

      Bajaj Consumer Care

      Bajaj Consumer Care Ltd.(Formerly known as Bajaj Corp Ltd.) (Marathi: बजाज कंझ्युमर लिमिटेड) is an Indian consumer goods company with major brands in hair care.

      It is part of the Bajaj Group, founded by Jamnalal Bajaj.

      Bajaj Group has interests in varied industries including Sugar, Consumer Goods, Power Generation and Infrastructure Development.

      Bajaj Consumer Care is the second largest company in the Shishir Bajaj Group of companies.

      The history of Bajaj Consumer Care dates back to 1953 when Mr. Kamalnayan Bajaj established Bajaj Sevashram to market and sell hair oils and other beauty products.

      Bajaj Consumer Care Ltd is the 2nd largest player in the overall hair oils segment with its key brand, Bajaj Almond Drops Hair Oil commanding a 52% market share in light hair oil category .

      Bajaj Consumer Care Ltd’s own manufacturing facilities are located at Guwahati, Paonta Sahib and Dehradun.

      Bajaj Nomarks

      Bajaj Nomarks is an Indian beauty brand of skin-care products, established and headquartered in Mumbai, India.

      Founded in 2001, the product range includes anti-marks creams, face washes, scrubs, sunscreen, soaps, and face packs for the consumer and professional markets.

      The brand was initially launched as Nomarks by Ozone Ayurvedics, which was later acquired by Bajaj Corp in 2013 to enter the skin care industry.

      As of 2017, the brand is available in more than 37 countries includes SAARC, Gulf & Middle-East, ASEAN and African regions.

      It is sold in over 2 lakhs outlets in India.

      As a result of its celebrity endorsements and infomercials, Bajaj Nomarks is one of the most popular and recognizable product series in the anti marks face cream space.

      The company advertises that their product starts working on marks from day one. 

      Bakeys

      Bakeys (sometimes also known as Bakey’s) is an Indian edible cutlery manufacturing startup company based in Hyderabad, Telangana.

      Bakeys was founded in 2010 by former ICRISAT researcher Narayana Peesapaty as an eco-friendly alternative to disposable utensils prepared with plastic, wood and bamboo, such as bamboo chopsticks.

      Balaji Wafers

      Balaji Wafers and Namkeen group, based in Rajkot, Gujarat, India, manufactures and distributes potato chips and other grain-based bagged snacks in various flavours.

      Started as a micro-business, it has evolved into a ₹2,000 crore (US$280 million) company of products with an indigenous taste.

      Bank of Baroda

      Bank of Baroda (BOB) is an Indian Multinational, public sector Banking and financial services company.

      It is the third largest public sector bank in India. 

      with a business mix of close to US$225 billion.

      Based on 2019 data, it is ranked 1145 on Forbes Global 2000 list.

      BoB has total assets in excess of ₹ 3.58 trillion (making it India’s 2nd biggest bank by assets),a network of 9583 branches in India and abroad, and 10442 ATMs as of July, 2017. 

      The government of India announced the merger of Bank of Baroda, Vijaya Bank and Dena Bank on September 17, 2018, to create the country’s third largest lender.

      The amalgamation is the first-ever three-way consolidation of banks in the country, with a combined business of Rs 14.82 trillion (short scale), making it the third largest bank after State Bank of India (SBI) and ICICI Bank.

      The Maharaja of Baroda, Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III, founded the bank on 20 July 1908 in the Princely State of Baroda, in Gujarat.

      The Government of India nationalized the bank, along with 13 other major commercial banks of India on 19 July 1969; the bank has been designated as a profit-making public sector undertaking(PSU).

      As many as 10 banks have merged with Bank of Baroda to date.

      Bellatrix Aerospace

      Bellatrix Aerospace is a private Indian aerospace manufacturer and smallsat launcher headquartered in Bangalore, India.

      The company was established in 2015.

      They are planning the first launch of their Chetak rocket in 2023.

      The two-stage Chetak rocket is powered by a number of their own Aeon engines. The Chetak rocket will use liquid methane as fuel. 

      Recently they have reported plans to use water as fuel.

      BEML Limited

      BEML Limited (IAST: BEML limiṭeḍ), previously Bharat Earth Movers Limited, is an Indian Public Sector Undertaking, with headquarters in Bengaluru.

      It manufactures a variety of heavy equipment, such as that used for earth moving, transport and mining.

      Berger Paints

      Berger Paints India Ltd is an Indian paint company based in India.

      The company is headquartered at Kolkata and has 14 manufacturing units in India, 2 in Nepal, 1 each in Poland and Russia.

      It has manufacturing units at Howrah and Rishra, Arinso, Taloja, Naltoli, Goa, Devla, Hindupur, Jejuri, Jammu,Puducherry and Udyognagar.

      The company has presence in 5 countries – India, Russia, Poland, Nepal and Bangladesh.

      They have an employee strength of over 3,500 and a countrywide distribution network of 25,000+ dealers.

      Bharat Aluminium Company

      Bharat Aluminium Company Ltd. (BALCO) is an Indian aluminium company.

      BALCO was incorporated in the year 1965 as a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) and it was the Public sector until 2001, when it was taken over by Vedanta Resources, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange.

      The Company has been closely associated with the Indian Aluminium Industry, in a pivotal role.

      Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited

      Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) owned and founded by the Government of India, is an engineering and manufacturing company based in New Delhi, India.

      Established in 1964, BHEL is India’s largest power generation equipment manufacturer.

      Bharat Petroleum

      Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) is an Indian government controlled oil and gas company headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

      The Corporation operates two large refineries of the country located in Kochi and Mumbai.

      The company is India’s 2nd largest downstream oil company and is ranked 275th on the Fortune list of the world’s biggest corporations as of 2019. 

      BPCL ranked 672 in the Forbes 2018 list.

      Bharti Airtel

      Bharti Airtel Limited, also known as Airtel, is an Indian global telecommunications services company based in New Delhi, India.

      Bharti Airtel Limited, also known as Airtel, is an Indian global telecommunications services company based in New Delhi, India.

      It operates in 18 countries across South Asia and Africa, and also in the Channel Islands.

      Airtel provides GSM, 3G, 4G LTE, 4G+ mobile services, fixed line broadband and voice services depending upon the country of operation.

      Airtel had also rolled out its VoLTE technology across all Indian telecom circles.

      It is the third largest mobile network operator in India and the second largest mobile network operator in the world with over 411.42 million subscribers.

      Airtel was named India’s 2nd most valuable brand in the first ever Brandz ranking by Millward Brown and WPP plc.

      Airtel is credited with pioneering the business strategy of outsourcing all of its business operations except marketing, sales and finance and building the ‘minutes factory’ model of low cost and high volumes.

      The strategy has since been adopted by several operators.

      Airtel’s equipment is provided and maintained by Ericsson, Huawei, and Nokia Networks whereas IT support is provided by Amdocs.

      The transmission towers are maintained by subsidiaries and joint venture companies of Bharti including Bharti Infratel and Indus Towers in India

      Ericsson agreed for the first time to be paid by the minute for installation and maintenance of their equipment rather than being paid up front, which allowed Airtel to provide low call rates of ₹1 (1.4¢ US)/minute

      Biba Apparels

      Biba Apparels is an Indian fashion brand for women and girls founded by Meena Bindra in 1988 from her home in New Delhi, India.

      It has more than 150 brand outlets and 225 multi-brand outlets.

      Biba recorded sales of INR 600 crore in 2014-15.

      Binaca

      Binaca is an oral hygiene brand that is marketed in India and owned by Dabur.

      Birla Tyres

      Birla Tyres, a division of Kesoram Industries Limited,was first established in 1991.

      They manufacture tyres for automobiles, motorcycles, commercial vehicles, farm vehicles and heavy earth-moving machinery.

      They have over 170 sales depots with more than 491 sales engineers and 8,831 dealers at major locations.

      New office locations [6] have come up at Shankagiri, Panvel, Secunderabad, Himatnagar and Siwan. Birla Tyre’s international network stretches across 17 countries worldwide.

      Bisk Farm

      Bisk Farm is a brand which is owned by SAJ Food Products (P) Ltd, a part of the Aparna Group of Companies.

      It is a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company, headquartered in the city of Kolkata in the Indian State of West Bengal.

      Since it was formed in the year 2000, Bisk Farm products have been available throughout Eastern and North Eastern India, and parts of South, Central and North India.

      The company eventually aims to market its products across the country.

      The company produces a total of 97 products from Biscuits, Cookies, Cakes, Rusks, Extruded Snacks, Filled Wafers and controls 15% of market share in East India, Britannia being the major competitor in the region.

      Some popular brands are The Top, Googly, Spicy, Just Ginger, Bourbon, Cheese Cream .

      Bisleri

      Bisleri International is an Indian brand bottled water formed in 1969 by Jayantilal Chauhan and Felice Bisleri.

      Bisleri conducts its major businesses in India, with 135 operational plants and a network of 3000 distributors & 5000 distribution trucks.

      The company conducts business across India and neighbouring countries. The company sells bottled water and flavoured drinks.

      Ramesh Chauhan is the Chairman of Bisleri International.

      A post graduate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Ramesh Chauhan holds a double major in Mechanical Engineering and Business Management.

      Blue Dart Express

      Blue Dart Express, is an Indian Logistics Company providing courier delivery services.

      It is headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

      It has a subsidiary cargo airline, Blue Dart Aviation that operates in South Asian countries.

      In 2002, Blue Dart had a business alliance with DHL Express and on 8 November 2004, DHL Express invested €120 million in it, and since then has been a major shareholder in the company.

      Blue Star

      Blue Star Limited is a company specialising in designing, developing, manufacturing and marketing a wide variety of products in the air conditioning and commercial refrigeration industry and is headquartered in Mumbai, India.

      It is the country’s second largest homegrown player in the air conditioning space.

      Boroline

      Boroline is an over the counter antiseptic perfumed cream sold in India. The product was launched in 1929 in Kolkata by Gourmohan Dutta, a Bengali merchant.

      Over the years, the brand’s popularity soared, and it became an icon of national economic self-sufficiency in a nation that was still under the British rule.

      It is still one of the most popular brands in India.

      It is a combination of the antiseptic boric acid, the astringent and sunscreen zinc oxide, and the emollient lanolin and is meant to be used for cuts, cracked lips, rough skin, and to treat infections.

      It is manufactured by G D Pharmaceuticals.

      Borosil

      Borosil Glass Works Ltd. (BGWL) is an Indian glassware company based in Mumbai.

      The company is one of the largest glassware producing companies in India with a significant presence in USA and Netherlands.

      Bovonto

      Bovonto is a soft drink popular in Tamil Nadu, India.

      It is manufactured and marketed by Kali Mark (Kalis Sparkling Water (P) Ltd.), which has offices and bottling plants at several locations in Tamil Nadu.

      Celkon

      Celkon was a mobile phone manufacturing company in India based at Hyderabad.

      It manufactured dual-sim smartphones, feature phones and tablets..

      Its smartphones were sold under two brands: CAMPUS and a high-end series MILLENNIA.

      Initially its mobiles and tablet PCs were assembled in Taiwan and China

      It ranked #437 and #5 on the list of media companies in Fortune India 500 roster of India’s largest corporations in 2011.

      Dish TV was also voted India’s most trusted DTH brand according to the Brand Trust Report 2014, a study conducted by Trust Research Advisory.

      On 22 March 2018, Dish TV completed a merger with Videocon d2h, creating the largest DTH provider in India.

      Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories

      Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories is a multinational pharmaceutical company.

      The company was founded by Anji Reddy, who previously worked in the mentor institute Indian Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited, of Hyderabad, India.

      Dr. Reddy’s manufactures and markets a wide range of pharmaceuticals in India and overseas.

      The company has over 190 medications, 60 active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) for drug manufacture, diagnostic kits, critical care, and biotechnology products.

      Dr. Reddy’s began as a supplier to Indian drug manufacturers, but it soon started exporting to other less-regulated markets that had the advantage of not having to spend time and money on a manufacturing plant that would gain approval from a drug licensing body such as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

      Epic (web browser)

      Epic is a privacy-centric web browser.

      It was developed by Hidden Reflex (a software product company founded by Alok Bhardwaj, based in Washington DC and Bangalore, India) from Chromium source code.

      Epic is always in “private browsing mode”. Exiting the browser deletes all browser data.

      Even during browsing as little as possible is stored.

      Epic developers removed all Google tracking code, binaries from the chromium source code to compile a clean executable and blocks other companies from tracking users.

      (The browser has no connection with the Electronic Privacy Information Center, a civil liberties group also known as EPIC.)

      During the years 2009 through 2015, United Spirits (USL) / Diageo exited all non-core investments in United Breweries and sold 850,000 INR shares to Heineken, which will now give it leverage to managing affairs of India’s largest beer producer.

      USL sold 3.21% shares for Rs 872 crore in a block trade.

      The shares were sell at Rs 1,030 apiece, a slight premium to Tuesday’s closing price of Rs 1,014.10.

      As of July 2015, Heineken’s stake in United Breweries (UB) has increased from 39% to 42.1%.

      This deal will give Heineken an upper hand over Vijay Mallya in running the company.

      In November 2019, Max India brought all its healthcare businesses under Max Healthcare, in which Radiant Life Care, backed by investment firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, holds a majority stake of 49.7%.

      The app crossed 100 million user mark in June 2018[9] and also crossed 5 billion transactions in December 2019.
