West Indies allrounder Dwayne Bravo has become the newest to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) as a mentor from the 2025 season of the Indian Premier League. Dwayne Bravo has a long and prosperous career with Chennai Super Kings, winning four Indian Premier League titles for the team in different roles.
As Dwayne Bravo replaces Gautam Gambhir who step down as the mentor of KKR to become the head coach of Indian Men’s Team.
Dwayne Bravo recently met the CEO of KKR, Venky Mysore, during the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) and he sign a long-term deal.
Dwayne Bravo also mentor all the teams under the Knight Riders brand in T20 leagues like Trinbago Knight Riders (CPL), Los Angeles Knight Riders (Major League Cricket), and Abu Dhabi Knight Riders (ILT20).

This is Dwayne Bravo’s second management role at the IPL.
He had join CSK earlier as a bowling coach after retiring from his IPL playing duties in 2022.
Dwayne Bravo’s impact has been immediate as it won the title in 2023.
As a player, Dwayne Bravo had become one of the best death bowlers in T20 cricket- earning himself two Purple Caps and third on the list for the highest wicket-taker in the IPL.

KKR can hire more people in their coaching staff with assistants Abhishek Nayar and Ryan ten Doeschate set to be a pert of India’s support team.
Dwayne Bravo will work alongside head coach Chandrakant Pandit and bowling coach Bharat Arun at KKR.
As to recall Dwayne Bravo retire from international cricket after the 2021 T20 World Cup but play in a few T20 leagues afterward.
Recent he was acting as a consultant coach for Afghanistan, helping them to their first-ever trip into the 2024 T20 World Cup semi-finals.
