ISRO has invites applications for a 2 month offline course calls Remote Sensing and Image Analysis. This program is conduct by the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing, Dehradun. Only 20 participants will be allow for the course and lodging and boarding facilities will be provided for all course participants at IIRS in its hostels on a single or double occupancy basis at nominal charges.
Participants of the course will be equip with a good working knowledge of the theory and practice of tools and technologies.
You can apply for the course, preference will be given to candidates nominates by the government organisations follow by other working professionals for the ISRO course.
Who can Apply for the ISRO Course?
This course is open to both government-sponsore and self-finance candidates with the following qualifications:
- Candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
- Government officials with a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline are eligible to apply.
How to Apply for the ISRO Course?
Candidates will have to apply for the course on the official website before 12th November, 2021.
The application fee is Rs. 1000 and the course fee is Rs. 20,000 which will have to be paid.
The course will be conduct from 10th January 2022, to 4th March 2022.
This course aims at supporting capacity-building activities in the country so that the benefits of space technology reach society at large.
The course is create to train and enhance the capacity of working professionals, researchers and students in the field of remote sensing.
Course enhances the skills of the participants in the utilisation of space technology and geospatial sciences into application domains through the following topics :
- Basics of remote sensing and photogrammetry
- Digital image analysis
- Thematic lectures and project work
