Ahmedabad-based EV maker Odysse has launch two new electric scooters in India. The two variant are Odysse V2 and Odysse V2+. Odysse plans to add two more products to its portfolio this year, and bring its total product range to seven models.
Odysse has start production facilities at Hyderabad and Mumbai with its pre-existing Ahmedabad plant.
Price in India
- Odysse V2 price set at Rs 75,000 (ex-showroom)
- Odysse V2+ price set at Rs 97,500 (ex-showroom)
Both the scooters are available in a total of six colours.
Bookings of both e-scooters are open online at Rs 2,000.
Mechanical Specifications
Odysse claims that the Odysse V2 has a range of 75km between charges and the Odysse V2+ delivers a range of 150km per charge.
Both Odysse scooters get a 3.5 hour charging time.
The main differing between the Odysse V2 and Odysse V2+ is that the Odysse V2 gets a 1.3kWh battery capacity and the Odysse V2+ gets a 2.6kWh unit.
Both Odysse scooters get a 250 Watt motor, propelling them to a claim top speed of 25kmph.
That means both will not require a license to ride.
Odysse V2 Electric Scooter features include a keyless operation, all-LED lighting and a reverse mode.
The ground clearance is a 180mm and the kerb weight is a very manageable 75kg.
Odysse V2 Electric Scooter gets a disc brake at the front and a drum at the rear.
Both the Odysse V2 Electric Scooter come shod with a 12-inch wheel at the front and a 10-incher at the rear.
By the end of the year the Odysse plans to have more than 100 dealerships across India.
Odysse is also working on IOT (Internet Of Things) tech, and will be roll out to its lineup very soon.
