Ola Electric has launch the Ola S1 series in the Indian market. The electric scooter will be available in two variants, Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro. The peak power output and maximum torque figures are similar on both variants.
The top speed and 0-40kmph acceleration timing are better on the Ola S1 Pro.
The base has a top speed of 90kmph and a 0-40kmph acceleration in 3.6 seconds.
The Ola S1 Pro variant can achieve a top speed of 115kmph and a 0-40kmph acceleration timing of three seconds.
Riding Modes
- Ola S1 range gets two riding modes (Normal and Sport).
- Ola S1 Pro gets three modes (Normal, Sport, and Hyper).
Battery Capacity
- The battery capacities of the Ola S1 are rated at 2.98kW.
- The battery capacities of the Ola S1 Pro are rated at 3.97kW.
Both variants come with a fixed battery type
Range
- The Ola S1 comes with a range of 121km.
- The Ola S1 Pro comes with a range of 181km.
Charging Time
- The home charging time for the Ola S1 stands at four hours and 48 minutes to fully recharge.
- The home charging time for the Ola S1 Pro stands at six hours and 30 minutes to fully recharge.
Ola fast chargers can recharge the battery pack for a range of 75km in 18 minutes.
Technology
Main features on the Ola S1 and the Ola S1 Pro include keyless operations, proximity lock, remote boot lock, call alert, message alert, infotainment system, built-in speakers, side-stand alert, anti-theft alert, geo-fencing, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, onboard navigation, limp home mode, reverse mode, get home mode, take-me-home lights, find my scooter, HMI moods with sound, electronic steering lock, HMI brightness adjuster, welcome screen, OTA updates, manual SOS, and predictive maintenance.
The Ola S1 Pro comes with three additional features hill-hold system, cruise control, and voice assist technology.
Design and Features
The features on both variants include full-LED lighting, a touch-screen display, Ola’s self-developed MoveOS system, a mono-shock at the front, a horizontally-mounted rear mono-shock, disc brakes on both wheels, and a combined braking system.
The styling cues on both variants include a minimalistic design, twin-pod headlight with LED DRL, apron-mounted front indicators, a 36-litre under-seat storage space, two-piece pillion grab rail, and curvy body panels.

- The Ola S1 price set at Rs 99,999.
- The Ola S1 Pro price set at Rs 1,29,999.
These prices include the FAME-II subsidy benefits.
The state-level subsidies further reduce the price tag as the Ola S1 series is most affordable in Gujarat where it is available from Rs 79,999 onwards.
