      Rajasthan News : Jio 5G Services Launched in India before Diwali | Details Inside

      Reliance Jio 5G services were officially launch in India. As announce two months back, Jio has finally launch the new-age high-speed services in the country. Jio Chairman Akash Ambani has launch the services in Rajasthan from the Shrinathji temple in Rajsamand.

      In 2022, the telco aims to launch 5G services in major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai.

      The Jio intends to expand its 5G network to each and every town, tehsil and taluka across the country by December 2023, Reliance chairman Mukesh Ambani said on 29th August 2022 while announcing the 5G launch in India.

      As Mukesh Ambani resign from the board of Reliance Jio, handing over reigns to his elder son Akash Ambani.

      Jio will deploy the latest version of 5G call as standalone 5G.

      It is estimate to invest Rs. 2 lakh crore in 5G infrastructure.

      Reliance Jio start beta trials of 5G services in the national capital along with three other cities, Mumbai, Kolkata and Varanasi with users getting download speed of over 1 Gbps.

      Aa per Jio, people will gradually start getting 5G signals in the entire city in a phased manner.

      Jio has brand its stand-alone 5G technology as ‘Jio True 5G‘.

      Jio on Friday post a 28% year-on-year rise in its net profit for the September quarter at Rs. 4,518 crore, as subscriber additions and ARPU boost realisations.

      Its net profit stood at Rs. 3,528 crore in the same period previous fiscal, the telco said in a regulatory filing.

      The revenue from operations of Reliance Jio Infocomm (RJIL) increase 20.2% to Rs. 22,521 crore for the just-ended quarter from Rs. 18,735 crore in the year-ago period.

      Reliance Jio starts rolling out 5G-enabled public wi-fi

      Reliance Jio has also launch 5G-enable wi-fi service at temple town of Nathdwara in Rajasthan and it will be expand to other public places with high footfalls like railway stations and educational institutions, the company said on Saturday.

      Jio has also start rolling out 5G services in Chennai.

      Jio has extend the Jio Welcome offer to the city.

      Customers with invitation only will get access to 5G service during the beta trial and they will be able to access unlimited 5G data at up to 1 gigabit per second.”

      Reliance Jio Chairman Akash M Ambani said in a statement :

      “We have powered the first True5G-enabled wi-fi service at the holy town of Nathdwara and the temple of Lord Srinath Ji. With this, we will power many more such locations and allow them to trial our services. In addition, we welcome Chennai as our latest city to be added to the Jio True5G Welcome Offer,”.

      “As stated earlier, 5G cannot remain an exclusive service to the privileged few or those in our largest cities. It must be available to every citizen, every home, and every business across India. This is a step in that direction to enable every Indian with JioTrue5G,”.

      Jio said it is introducing “JioTrue5G-powered wi-fi services” in high footfall areas such as educational institutions, religious places, railway stations, bus stands, commercial hubs and other places.

      Reliance Jio has plans to cover the entire country with 5G services by December 2023 and it has simultaneously start out 5G-enable wi-fi services.
