      Reliance 45th AGM : Everything Which You Need to Know about Jio True 5G and More

      Reliance Jio will begin rolling out 5G services in India by October, Mukesh Ambani said at Reliance Industries’ 45th Annual General Meeting (AGM). India’s largest telecom operator announce a Rs. 2 lakh crore investment to deploy 5G connectivity in cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata by Diwali.

      Also Reliance confirm the nationwide rollout of the 5G network by December 2023.

      Reliance is associating with Qualcomm to develop 5G solutions for India.

      Jio also announce a service called Jio Air Fiber for offering an end-to-end wireless 5G experience.

      During the 45th AGM of the company, Reliance Jio confirm the rollout of 5G infrastructure in India.

      Mukesh Ambani said :

      “By Diwali 2022 we’ll launch Jio 5G across multiple cities, including metro cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata,”.

      Mukesh Ambani also state that the company aims to deliver Jio 5G to every town, taluka and tehsil in India by December 2023.

      Jio claims that its 5G rollout plan will be the fastest in the world.

      Reliance Jio also announce that it will invest Rs. 2 lakh crore for the deployment of the fifth-generation mobile network in the country.

      Jio is also joining hands with Qualcomm to develop 5G solutions for India. It is also associating with Google to develop affordable 5G smartphones and Google Cloud.

      Reliance Jio chairman Akash Ambani also announce JioAirFiber which lets users access Gigabit-speed Internet without any wires at home and offices.

      The wireless single device showcase by the company can be plug into the power source and will work as a Wi-Fi hotspot.

      Reliance Jio AirFiber and Jio Cloud PC Announce

      Jio AirFiber and Jio Cloud PC services were introduce during Reliance Industries’ 45th Annual General Meeting (AGM).

      The JioAirFiber allow users to access Gigabit-speed Internet without any wires and the Jio Cloud PC is a virtual PC that is host in the cloud using without any hardware requirement.

      Reliance Jio has brand its fifth-generation mobile network service as Jio True 5G and both the Jio AirFiber and Jio Cloud PC will work base on this service.

      Reliance Jio Chairman Akash Ambani, during the 45th AGM of RIL, demonstrate the new Jio AirFiber and Jio Cloud PC.

      The JioAirFiber lets users access Gigabit-speed Internet through wireless networks at home and offices.

      JioAirFiber Home Gateway is a wireless single device that can be plug into the power source and will work as a Wi-Fi hotspot.

      It will be connect to high-speed Internet using Jio’s True 5G.

      The Jio Cloud PC is essentially a virtual PC that is host in the cloud through the Jio True 5G connectivity.

      This concept replaces physical laptops and desktops and comes without any major hardware requirements.

      It can be use to connect multiple PCs and users need to pay only to the extent use.

      Reliance Jio has earmark Rs. 2 lakh crore investment for rolling out 5G services in India in the next two months.

      Jio and Meta Launch JioMart on WhatsApp for Shopping

      Meta and Jio Platforms launch a first of its kind end-to-end shopping experience on WhatsApp.

      Consumers in India can now shop from JioMart right within the WhatsApp app.

      You can access and browse through JioMart’s grocery catalogue, add items to cart, and make the payment to complete the purchase within the WhatsApp.

      The development comes as Mukesh Ambani, Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director, announce at the 45th Annual General Meeting that Jio will begin rolling out 5G services in India by October.

      JioMart is a global first initiative and JioMart on WhatsApp will enable users in India, including those who have never shop online before, to shop via WhatsApp by simply sending ‘Hi’ to the JioMart number (+917977079770) on WhatsApp.

      The launch is part of a strategic partnership between Meta and Jio Platforms that was announce in 2020.

      Mukesh Ambani Said :

      The company said that the JioMart on WhatsApp experience will revolutionise “the way millions of businesses across the country connect with their consumers while bringing unparalleled simplicity and convenience to people’s shopping experience.” Mark Zuckerberg, Founder and CEO, Meta, said that chat-based experiences like this “will be the go-to way people and businesses communicate in the years to come.”

      Isha Ambani, who Mukesh Ambani introduce as leader of Reliance group’s retail business, showcase the demo of the JioMart bot.

      Isha Ambani Said :

      “JioMart and WhatsApp partnership will aid growth. JioMart-WhatsApp users can use WhatsApp Pay, cash on delivery (COD), and other payment methods,”.

      JioMart’s WhatsApp Bot is built by Haptik.

      Reliance Retail to launch FMCG business this year : Isha Ambani

      The Reliance Retail will launch its FMCG business in 2022, said Director Isha Ambani during her speech at the parent company Reliance Industries’ Annual General Meeting (AGM).

      Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd Director Isha Ambani said :

      “I am excited to announce that this year, we will launch our fast-moving consumer goods business. The objective of this business is to develop and deliver products that solve every Indian’s daily needs with high quality products at affordable pricing,”.

      This will now place Reliance in front of FMCG majors like Hindustan Unilever, Nestle, Britannia, among many others.

      Isha Ambani said that company will start ‘marketing quality goods produced by tribals and other marginalised communities across India.

      Reliance Retail open over 2500 stores in the year to take its store count to over 15,000.

      Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd Director Isha Ambani said :

      “We built an extensive supply chain network with modular design and best-in-class automation. We generated employment for more than 1,50,000 during the year, taking our employee base to over 3,60,000. We continue expanding our reach to more customers through the addition of store network and merchant partners,”.

      Isha Ambani also mention many brand launches by Reliance across categories of staples, home, personal care and general merchandise, during 2022.

      Isha Ambani said :

      “Our digital commerce platforms continued their growth with nearly 600,000 orders being delivered every day, an increase of 2.5 times over last year,”.

      “JioMart, delivering in over 260 towns, was rated India’s Number One trusted brand for online grocery,”.

      Reliance Retail aims to serve over 7,500 towns and 300,000 villages in the next five years.

      Isha Ambani said that the company serves its customers through a network of nearly 2,500 stores and digital commerce platforms, JioMart and Milkbasket.

      Reliance Retail also launch Freshpik, a gourmet format, in 2021 and rolled out 7-Eleven.

      Reliance plans to build a portfolio of 50 to 60 grocery, household and personal care brands within six months and is also readying distributors to take them to retail outlets and stores across the nation, according to few recent media reports.
