      Rishabh Pant Accident : Everything Which You Need to Know About | All Details Inside

      Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant was severely injure after meeting with a car accident near Uttarkhand’s Roorkee on 30th December 2022, Friday early morning.

      This accident took place near Hammadpur Jhal while the star cricketer was returning home in Uttarakhand from Delhi alone driving his BMW car.

      Many pictures and videos have surface online where Rishabh Pant’s car could be seen hitting a divider and catching fire after the collision.

      In a video, an injure Rishabh Pant can be seen lying on road after meeting with the accident.

      This video was purportedly report by some unknown local.

      After preliminary treatment at Roorkee Civil Hospital, Rishabh Pant has admit to Max Hospital in Dehradun.

      Dr. Ashish Yagnik of Max Hospital said :

      “Cricketer Rishabh Pant is under the observation of Orthopedics & plastic surgeons. His condition is stable. His detailed medical bulletin will be released once he’s examined. Thereafter, we will take the next steps.”

      SK Singh, SP Rural, Haridwar said :

      “At around 5.30 am we received info that cricketer Rishabh Pant’s car met with an accident. He was rushed to Saksham Hospital in Roorkee & was later shifted to Dehradun. He was driving the car and was alone.”

      “He was going to Roorkee to meet his relatives. The accident happened because he fell asleep 1km ahead of Narsan towards Roorkee,”.

      Rishabh Pant dozed off while driving, says Police

      India cricketer Rishabh Pant fell asleep while driving from Delhi to Roorkee which cause his car to collide with a divider on the Narsan border of Roorkee near Hammadpur Jhal in Uttarakhand, police said.

      The cricketer has been admit to a hospital in Dehradun with injuries on his back, forehead and leg.

      According to SK Singh the Superintendent of Police, Haridwar (Rural) the mishap took place while the cricketer was on his way to Roorkee from Delhi, and his car collided with the divider on the Narsan border of Roorkee near Hammadpur Jhal.

      Rishabh Pant `s condition is stable according to hospital authorities.

      According to photographs from the site, the car was seen in a badly burnt condition.

      Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami who is in Kolkata wish the cricketer a speedy recovery and that the state will extend all possible support to him including the facility of an air ambulance if required.

      What eye-witness said who rescued Rishabh Pant?

      Driving a Mercedes-AMG GLE43 Coupe, Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant met with a horrific accident and was luckily recuse by a local driver on the morning hours.

      The local driver, Sushil Kumar, who made sure that Rishabh Pant safely escape the car reveale that he was driving on the other side of the road, from Haridwar to Haryana when he saw Rishabh Pant’s car crashing and saw the car was about to catch fire.

      Sushil Kumar said that Rishabh Pant was in terrible shape physically, with blood dripping from his pace and scratches all over his body, but before things could get any worse, Susheel Kumar with some other locals jump to save the day.

      Sushil Kumar Said :

      “We began to scream for aid, but no one responded. No one responded when I contacted the National Highway also. Then I raced up to the cops, and the conductor requested an ambulance. We kept asking him whether he was okay. I gave him some water. After reorganising, he introduced himself as Rishabh Pant. “I don’t watch cricket, so I had no idea who he was until my conductor told me, ‘Sushil… he is an India cricketer,’.

      “He gave us the phone number of his mother. We tried calling her, but her phone was turned off. After 15 minutes, the ambulance arrived, and we boarded. He had also strewn his money over the road, which we collected and presented to him in his hands,”.

      As shocking details keep emerging in the Rishabh Pant car mishap, the bus driver who save Rishabh Pant life said that Rishabh Pant said that he is Rishabh Pant, the Indian cricketer responsible for India’s victory against Australia in the 2021 Gabba Test.

      The bus driver, Sushil Kumar, was the first person to reach the accident and he also pull out the cricketer from the car. 

      Sushil Kumar rush to the vehicle and broke the windshield to rescue the star cricketer.

      Sushil Kumar said the cricketer was badly injured and was walking with a limp after the near-fatal accident.

      The bus driver said he was coming from the Haridwar side and Pant from the Delhi side.

      This is when Sushil Kumar saw Rishabh Pant’s car hitting a divider and applied brakes to help the Indian cricketer.

      As per reports, Rishabh Pant’s car broke the divider barricade and skid for about 200 metres. 

      Why Rishabh Pant was driving the car himself?

      The accident happen in the Mohammadpur Jat area near Roorkee.

      Pharmacist Monu Kumar said that the ambulance reach the spot around 5:40 am on Friday.

      By then, a bus driver passing by had taken Rishabh Pant out of the badly burning vehicle.

      After that, he immediately put Rishabh Pant on a stretcher and called an ambulance.

      Rishabh Pant was hurt in the eye, bleeding from the nose, his back was peeled, there was also an injury to his leg.

      During this time, when Monu ask the patient his name, Rishabh Pant told the pharmacist that he is Rishabh Pant, a player of the Indian cricket team.

      Rishabh’s pain was beyond tolerance

      After that, Rishabh Pant told the pharmacist, “Brother, I am in a lot of pain, first give me some pain injection”.

      Monu took permission from 108 and gave him a pain injection.

      Rishabh Pant then ask Monu to take him to a good private hospital.

      Monu Kumar took him to Roorkee’s Saksham Hospital, which was about 10-12 kilometers away from the spot.

      When Rishabh Pant was ask in the ambulance how the accident happen, he said that he does not remember what happen.

      Slept off, then later saw the car surround by fire.

      At the same time, while being taken to the hospital, Rishabh Pant was ask why he was driving the car himself?

      To this, Rishabh Pant said that he never gets a chance to drive alone, so he took the car out to drive to his family home of Roorkee from Delhi.

      Rishabh Pant was ask who could be called in his family.

      To this, Rishabh Pant said that I do not remember anyone’s number except my mother’s.

      The number he told was switch off at that time.

      Later, his family was inform when the police arrive.

      What BCCI said?

      Commenting on Rishabh Pant’s accident, the Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) said that Pant has received two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee and has also hurt his right wrist, ankle, toe, and suffer abrasion injuries on his back.

      The BCCI said that Rishabh Pant will undergo MRI scans at Max Hospital Dehradun to ascertain the extent of his injuries and decide on the further course of treatment. 

      BCCI said :

      “The BCCI is in constant touch with Rishabh’s family while the Medical Team is in close contact with the doctors currently treating Rishabh. The board will see to it that Rishabh receives the best possible medical care and gets all the support he needs to come out of this traumatic phase.” 

      The Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) secretary Siddharth Sahib Singh said :

      “We are all concerned but thankfully he is stable. We at DDCA are keeping a tab and wish him a speedy recovery.”

      The clips of Rishabh after he met with the accident have viral on social media.

      Upset with this, Ritika Sajdeh, the wife of Rohit Sharma, lashed out at people for sharing Rishabh’s clips and being insensitive.

      Wicket-keeper and batter Rishabh Pant has represent India in 33 Test matches scoring 2271 runs at an average of 43.67 with five Test tons to his name with his highest score being 159 not out.

      Rishabh Pant has 119 catches and 14 stumpings to his name.

      In ODIs, Rishabh Pant has 865 runs to his name in 30 matches at an average of 34.60 with five half-centuries and one ton with a strike rate of 106.65.
