Samsung has announce that its Cloud service will no longer support Gallery Sync and Drive storage for My Files. This will come into effect at the end of next month and all the data store on the Samsung Cloud will then be delete.
Samsung also mention that the premium storage subscription plan will also automatically get cancel with the possibility of the subscription amount will refund.
Samsung Cloud’s features will now be support by Microsoft OneDrive – excluding certain countries and devices.
As per a notice by Samsung, its Samsung Cloud will stop support for Gallery Sync and Drive storage for My Files from 30th November 2021.
All of the data store on Samsung’s cloud will also be delete at the end of next month.
Samsung Cloud cancel the subscription for the premium storage plan from 1st October 2021 and subscribers may get a refund.
Users is advise that Samsung Cloud either integrate their data to Microsoft OneDrive or download the data on their personal storage.
Samsung Cloud’s features will now be support by Microsoft OneDrive and Samsung has provide methods and a window to integrate data from its Cloud to Microsoft till 30th November 2021.
Automatic transfer support for the data was only support till 30th September 2021.
You can also download all of your data from Samsung Cloud to their personal storage but will lose out on the opportunity to integrate to OneDrive.
Samsung has mention all the steps to integrate data to OneDrive and download to personal storage.
NOTE :
- If users select OneDrive integration, the data store on Samsung Cloud will be automatically delete once the transfer is complete.
- If users select the option to download the data, all of it would be completely delete from Samsung Cloud either 60 days after the data is download or 30th November 2021.
