      Samsung Wallet Coming to India | Details Inside

      In June 2022, Samsung introduce a new first-party smartphone app call as Samsung Wallet. The application unifies Samsung Pay and Samsung Pass into a single app with some additional features.

      Samsung Wallet was made available in 21 countries in 2022.

      But now, with the start of 2023, Samsung has made an announcement regarding extending the availability of the application to 8 new countries.

      As per official press release, Samsung said that the Samsung Wallet app will be available in the following 8 countries starting at the end of January 2023.

      • India
      • Malaysia
      • Singapore
      • Taiwan

      Apart from the above mention regions, the Samsung Wallet application is already available in the following 21 markets.

      Samsung announce the expansion of its unified payment app Samsung Wallet via its newsroom blog.

      As per details share by Samsung, the unified Samsung Wallet app will be available in eight new markets by the end of the month.

      The exact rollout date has not announce by the Samsung, which said that the availability and launch of Samsung Wallet and support device models and features could vary by market.

      The wallet services are also available in South Korea under Samsung Pay.

      The Samsung Wallet app is currently available in 21 countries.

      Samsung launch the wallet app as a unified platform enabling users to store their digital keys, boarding passes, identification cards, and other documents securely on their phones.

      The Samsung wallet is protect by the firm’s security platform Samsung Knox.

      It has protective features like fingerprint recognition and encryption for data protection.

      Additionally, the app also features an embedded Secure Element to store sensitive data and safeguard them from digital and physical hacking. The Samsung Wallet app is only accessible to Samsung Galaxy smartphone owners.

      So, the app will be soon available in 29 regions in the coming days.

      Samsung Wallet application can do much more.

      Samsung Wallet allows users to store credit cards, debit cards, gift cards, loyalty cards, vaccine certifications, membership cards, loyalty cards, boarding passes, and ID cards.

      You can also store passwords, NFT collections, and digital keys for cars.

      Samsung Wallet all features are available in all the markets.

      And, Samsung is promising more features down the line.

      As, Samsung Wallet also comes with support for Samsung Pass which securely stores passwords allowing users to quickly log into apps and services, just like Apple’s inbuilt iCloud Keychain password manager.
