Star Sports, the official broadcaster of the T20 World Cup 2021 has brings back its iconic ‘Mauka Mauka’ campaign with an interesting twist. This campaign is a combination of cheeky humour and friendly banter that makes it relatable and funny.
The ‘Mauka Mauka’ ad was first introduced before the 2015 ICC World Cup.
The T20 Cricket World Cup has been schedule between 17th October – 14th November 2021.

The campaign has been created and conceptualised by there own team at Star Sports.
This ad film opens with a Pakistan fan entering his friend’s electronic store to purchase a television set for the upcoming T20 World Cup clash.
Ad continues with the concept of the Indian and Pakistani fans trying to get the better of each other.
As team India never lost to Pakistan in either 50-over World Cup games or T20 World Cup games.
Men in Blue has got the better of Pakistan in five consecutive ICC T20 World Cup encounters including twice in the 2007 T20 World Cup, follow by victories in 2012, 2014, and 2016.
The latest ‘Mauka Mauka’ ad revolves around that fact and highlights the excitement for the upcoming India-Pakistan match on 24th October 2021.
India and Pakistan have a history in the 20-over ICC World Cup as they clashed for the first time in the inaugural tournament which was play in South Africa in 2007.
India won their first game in the league stages via a bowl out after the scores were tied.
The two teams then met in the final and the MS Dhoni-led side famously beat Shoaib Malik’s Pakistan in Johannesburg to lift the trophy.
From then these two teams have met many times in the T20 World Cup but India coming out victors every time.
Their last clash in the tournament came in the previous edition in 2016 which was played in India.
These two teams clash in the Eden Gardens in Kolkata where Shahid Afridi’s Pakistan lost to the brilliance of Virat Kohli’s batsmanship.
New Mauka Mauka Ad Brings The Buy 1 Break 1 Free Offer For Pakistani
The Mauka Mauka ad was first release by Star Sports ahead of the India v Pakistan match in the 2015 World Cup which show a young Pakistani supporter in Karachi saving up firecrackers to burst in hopes of Pakistan beating India in the 1992 World Cup in Australia.
But India beats Pakistan then the youngster is disappoint and stows away his crackers for next time.
The subsequent ads show him growing up and concludes after the 2011 World Cup semi-final which India won with the supporter who is now married and has a child who asking his son in anguish, “Kab phodenge yaar?”.
Star Sports then release one more video ahead of India-Pakistan 2016 T20 World Cup tie when the supporter sends a video to Pak captain Shahid Afridi.
Since then many versions of the ad have been release and all of them have been well receive by the fans of the Indian team.
India and Pakistan schedule to clash in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021 on 24th October 2021 in Dubai, a new Mauka Mauka ad has been release in which the supporter is seen carrying his crackers into a mall in Dubai where the Indian shop owner greets him.
The Pakistani supporter asks for a TV citing the upcoming clash and the Indian shop owner reminds him of how he broke his TV a few years ago after Pakistan lost.
Then Indian shop owner gives him two TVs, one to watch the match and another to break under the “Buy 1 Break 1” offer much to the chagrin of the Pakistani fan.
