Top 8 teams in the Super 12
Semi-finalists, New Zealand, India, England and Pakistan have made it to the 2024 tournament and the four teams, Australia and Sri Lanka from Group 1 and South Africa and the Netherlands from Group 2 have also qualified for the T20 World Cup 2024 directly.
The Netherlands in one of the upsets of the tournament beat South Africa in their final group stage game to finish 4th in their group, above Bangladesh.
As Netherlands’ win help Pakistan advance to the semis and their win help the Dutch in keeping Bangladesh to four points and NRR in negative as they now don’t have to go through qualifiers to be in the World Cup.
