TVS Motor Company has announce its partnership with Jio-bp to develop charging infrastructure for two and three-wheelers. Jio-bp Pulse stations will also have charging facilities for the iQube with upcoming EVs from other brands also.
These companies will develop a regular AC charging and DC fast-charging network for both, two and three-wheelers.
TVS has also reveale that it is building a new portfolio of EVs for two and three-wheelers in the range of 5-25kW, and intends to launch them in the market over the next two years.
TVS has been working on a B2B electric scooter which was spot testing earlier this year.
TVS Motor Company also announce its partnership with Convergence Energy Services Ltd. (CESL) last year, under which it will develop and expand charging infrastructure for the TVS iQube Electric.
TVS joins the likes of Honda, that has partner with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) and Hero MotoCorp, which ink a deal with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) to establish a wide EV charging network across the country.
Due to the government’s enthusiastic approach towards battery-swapping, swap stations will soon become a regular sight, and the readily available charging infrastructure will surely boost EV adoption as well.
