Mumbai Indians announce the coaching staff for its new franchise in the coming Women’s Premier League (WPL) schedule in March 2023. Former England Women’s Team Captain and CBE Charlotte Edwards will take on the role of Head Coach.
Padma Shri and Arjuna Awardee Jhulan Goswami takes on the double role of the Team Mentor and Bowling Coach.

Trupti Chandgadkar Bhattacharya will be the Team Manager.
Charlotte Edwards is widely known as one of women’s cricket all-time greats having a career spanning across 20 years, she has captain England and led the team to an ODI and T20I World Cup win.
For the past 5 years, Charlotte Edwards has been extensively coaching teams across England and Australia.
Jhulan Goswami is known for exceptional bowling skills having inspire and script many wins for India with the ball and is consider to be one of the greatest bowlers to every play the sport.
The coaching team, comprising of these three stalwarts, will train, nurture and mentor the newly women’s cricket team to give it the edge Mumbai Indians is known for.
