The Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) announce a hike in monthly pensions of former cricketers (both men and women) and former umpires.
BCCI secretary Jay Shah announce that they will hike the monthly pension of retire cricketers cent percent, a move which surely benefits the ex-cricketers.
The secretary also said that this move is bound to affect 75% of personnel which also includes non-players like scorers and statisticians.
As BCCI sold the combine media rights of IPL from 2023 to 2027.
The e-auction saw the digital and the TV rights getting snap up by some of the biggest media conglomerates.
