Bajaj Auto plans to introduce more affordable electric scooters under its Chetak brand to encourage the ongoing adoption of electric vehicles despite decreasing government subsidies.
As Bajaj is set to launch a new electric scooter targeting the mass market in May 2024.
Also, Bajaj Auto aims to expand its retail presence by threefold within the next few months.
As per the report, Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director, Bajaj Auto said in a post-earning call :
