      When Sourav Ganguly Gave An Epic Response to Pervez Musharraf’s Question on MS Dhoni

      Former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf pass away in Dubai 5th February 2023. Pervez Musharraf was reportedly suffering from amyloidosis. He was 79. A former Chief of Army Staff, Pervez Musharraf was the 10th President of Pakistan. He serve as the President of Pakistan from June 2001 to August 2009.

      During Pervez Musharraf tenure, Team India travel the country for a full-fledge series that include three Test matches and five ODIs.

      India had never won a Test series in Pakistan and return home with a series win.

      The Men in Blue also won the ODI series.

      In 2006, Team India made another trip to Pakistan.

      MS Dhoni, who had score a brilliant 148 against the Men in Green in April 2005, was also a part of the series and was Team India’s first-choice wicketkeeper.

      Pervez Musharraf seem to be a big fan of MS Dhoni and he also compliment the youngster during an ODI.

      As per Sourav Ganguly, the former Pakistan president ask him about MS Dhoni during a conversation as well.

      The former India captain, Sourav Ganguly had an epic response to Pervez Musharraf’s question on Dhoni.

      “I still remember Pervez Musharraf asking me from where did you get him? I told him he was walking near the Wagah border and we pull him in,”

      Sourav Ganguly reveal during an event in 2018.

      MS Dhoni was in form during the Test series and score 179 runs in three matches at an average of 59.66.

      MS Dhoni tally include one half-century.

      The wicketkeeper-batsman MS Dhoni average 219.00 for his 219 runs in the ODI series.

      MS Dhoni had a strike-rate of 136.87 in the series.

      The home team dominate the proceedings in the Tests series and register a 1-0 win.

      The first two matches end in a draw.

      The Men in Green kick off the ODI series with a win.

      India bounce back strongly after losing the series opener and won the next four ODIs to conquer the home team.

      After a year, MS Dhoni-led India defeat Pakistan in the 2007 T20 World Cup final in South Africa.
