A former Chief of Army Staff, Pervez Musharraf was the 10th President of Pakistan. He serve as the President of Pakistan from June 2001 to August 2009.

During Pervez Musharraf tenure, Team India travel the country for a full-fledge series that include three Test matches and five ODIs.
India had never won a Test series in Pakistan and return home with a series win.
The Men in Blue also won the ODI series.
In 2006, Team India made another trip to Pakistan.
