      Microsoft Launched Free Generative AI Skills and Training Courses | Details Inside

      Microsoft launch a comprehensive training program aim at equipping workers with the necessary skills to harness the power of artificial intelligence. Announce as part of Microsoft‘s “Skills for the Jobs” initiative, the program offers free online courses and certificates to help individuals master the fundamental concepts and applications of AI.

      LinkedIn has develop a series of online courses that cover introductory knowledge of AI and provide a “framework for responsible AI.”

      These courses when complete will grant a professional certificate, which is the first of its kind in generative AI available on the online learning scenario.

      Although right now only offer in English, Microsoft has plans to expand the program to include additional languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese in the near future.

      Recognizing the importance of educators in shaping the next generation of AI professionals, Microsoft has also introduce an educator toolkit.

      This resource offers teachers and trainers downloadable content design to facilitate AI education in classrooms and training environments.

      A specialize AI course has develop specifically for teachers and trainers to enhance their understanding and instructional abilities in the field of AI.

      Microsoft has launch the AI Open Funding Program for Historically Marginalized Groups.

      This collaborative effort between data.org, Microsoft’s AI for Good Lab, and GitHub aims to empower nonprofit organizations, social enterprises, research institutions, and academic organizations to train and enable workers to utilize generative AI.

      The grant program provides financial support, collective learning opportunities, data training and mentoring, as well as access to Microsoft events and cloud computing resources.

      Interested people can submit their applications until 15th August 2023.
