The All-India Senior Selection Committee has pick the squads for the three-match T20I and ODI series against England to be play after the fifth Test.
BCCI has announce India’s squads for the upcoming three-match ODI and T20I series against England.
India’s Test team is currently playing the reschedule fifth Test at Edgbaston.
And the T20I series is set to commence on 7th July, 2022, and the ODIs will take place from 12th July 2022.
The selectors have opt to announce a different squad for the first T20I and have rest the Test stars, apart from Rohit Sharma who will missing the Test match.
The squad that feature in the Ireland T20I series has retain with Rohit being name as the captain.
The full-strength squad will play the last two T20Is and the three ODIs as well.
Arshdeep Singh has got a maiden ODI call-up as he has not found a place in the squad for the last two T20Is of the series.
The left-arm pacer is still waiting for his chance despite being in the squad since the South Africa T20Is at home.
Umran Malik has retain for the entire T20I series against England but hasn’t pick in the ODI squad.
Rahul Tripathi who didn’t get a chance in the Ireland T20Is has only pick for the first T20I against England.
Shikhar Dhawan is set to return to action in the India jersey as the selectors have continue to show faith in him in the 50-over format.
