Google has finally release the first public beta of Android 14 after two developer previews. Currently, the Android 14 beta 1 update is available for the Google Pixel 4a and newer models. Users can apply for the beta build by enrolling their device in the Pixel program.
Similarly, users can download the system image and manually flash it, and the update is around 2.15GB.
According to the timeline share by the Google, Android 14 will be in the beta phase for the next two months, and the company will stabilize the OS in June and July.
The final stable build of Android 14 will be release to supported devices by August 2023.

Those who don’t have a Google Pixel smartphone can access the same on the Android emulator by setting up a virtual device to experience Android 14 in a smartphone or a tablet UI.
There is also an option to download a generic system image (GSI) build and install the same on Treble-compliant devices, which include devices from OnePlus, Xiaomi, Honor, and Asus.

Features of Android 14
According to the Android developer’s blog, with Android 14, Google is introducing many new features, such as smarter system UI, which includes a new back arrow, an improve system sharesheet, and more graphics capabilities.
This update also adds more personalization features, such as per-app language preference and improve privacy settings.
In the upcoming beta builds, Google is likely to add more features to Android 14.
Given that this is a beta build, it will not be stable, and some of the basic functionalities might not work.
So, we don’t recommend users install this beta build on a primary device.
