iPhone 15 Series battery capacities and wattage details have reportedly reveal by a regulatory database. Apple does not publish details of the batteries in its smartphones, aside from battery backup, in hours.
But, a new report reveals that the iPhone 15 Pro models are equip with slightly larger batteries than 2022’s models.
It is worth noting that Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are equip with a new 3nm A17 Pro chip, which is expect to offer better efficiency and performance compare to 2022’s iPhone 14 Pro models.
A report said that the details of the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max batteries have list on a Chinese regulatory database.
The publication did not reveal the name of the database, but includes details of both the capacity and wattage of all four models in the iPhone 15 series.
As per the report, the iPhone 15 is equip with a 3,349mAh battery with a wattage of 12.981Wh.
The iPhone 14 feature a 3,279mAh battery.
The iPhone 15 Plus is equip with a 4,383mAh battery with a wattage of 16.950Wh, while higher than the iPhone 14 Plus with capacity of 4,235mAh.
While iPhone 15 Pro reportedly comes with a 3,274mAh battery with a wattage of 12.70Wh, slightly higher than the iPhone 14 Pro with 3,200mAh unit.
iPhone 15 Pro Max features a 4,422mAh battery with a wattage of 17.109Wh which is slightly higher than iPhone 14 Pro Max with a 4,323mAh battery.
Apple does not reveal the battery capacities of its smartphones, unlike other smartphone OEMs.
Instead, it reveals the typical battery life offer by the smartphone.
As per Apple, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will offer the best battery life in the lineup offer up to 29 hours of video playback.
The iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 offer 25 hours, 23 hours, and 20 hours of battery life, respectively.
A report also reveal specification that Apple typically keeps under wraps, the amount of RAM on its smartphones.
As Apple previously upgrade the available RAM on its smartphone from 4GB to 6GB when it launched the iPhone 13 Pro, and the company’s iPhone 15 Pro models are the first handsets to feature 8GB of RAM while the non-Pro models are equip with 6GB of RAM, as per report.

Apple Watch Battery Replacement Costs Have Been Revised
Apple has increase the battery replacement cost for almost all Apple Watch models by $20 (approx. Rs. 1,660).
The service was earlier price set at $79 (approx. Rs. 6,558).
AppleCare+ subscribers can replace their Apple Watch batteries at no additional cost if the battery holds less than 80% of its original capacity.
As before, Apple also increase the battery replacement cost for iPhone by $20 for all iPhone models.
As per Apple’s support page, users will have to pay $99 (approx. Rs. 8,200) to replace batteries for all Apple Watch models including the Apple Watch Series 9, Apple Watch Ultra 2, Apple Watch Series 8, and other older models.
Apple earlier use to charge $79 (approx. Rs. 6,558) for battery replacement of these watches.
Apple has support battery replacement for as far back as the Apple Watch 2 launch in 2016.
AppleCare+ subscribers can get their Apple Watch batteries replace for free if the battery holds less than 80% of its original capacity, says Apple.
Earlier in 2023, Apple increase the battery replacement cost for iPhone 13 or older models by $20 (approx. Rs. 1,650) effective from 1st March 2023.
Now the battery replacement of iPhone 13, iPhone 12, iPhone 11, and iPhone X lineups cost $89 (approx. Rs. 7,300).
And the iPhone 14 battery replacement costs $99 (approx. Rs. 8,200).
