After 12 years successfully lifting the World Cup trophy at their home, India will host one more edition of World Cup this year. As all the matches will be play in India and the Rohit Sharma-led side will have the home advantage.

Since 2011, the team hosting the mega event has won it and the fans have high hopes from Team India.

2023 World Cup will mark an end to Rahul Dravid’s tenure as the head coach of Team India.

His future will depend on India’s performance in the ICC event.

Lifting a World Cup trophy is every cricketer’s dream and a team needs a dream coaching staff to achieve the glory.

As India gear up for the World Cup 2023, we have a look at India’s dream coaching staff for the 2023 World Cup.

      MS Dhoni

      Head Coach

MS, only Indian captain to win all three ICC trophies play during his time,

MS Dhoni would be perfect for the role of head coach.

The India legend has seen the game change drastically since his debut and with the present style of play.

Few might say that he had a forgettable stint as Team India’s mentor during the 2021 T20 World Cup.

But MS Dhoni was just a mentor then and Ravi Shastri and Virat Kohli were the actual decision-makers.

As you should know mentor’s role is not about coaching much.

      Sachin Tendulkar

      Batting Coach

Sachin Tendulkar as the batting coach of Team India will be a dream come true for the millions of fans of the game.

      Zaheer Khan

      Bowling Coach

India’s modern-day great, Zaheer Khan can be the perfect pick to become India’s bowling coach for the ICC event.

Zaheer Khan serve Indian cricket for a long time and play a key role in India’s title win in the 2011 World Cup.

Zaheer Khan was the joint-highest wicket-taker in the ICC event with 21 wickets.

As in 2017, BCCI appoint Zaheer Khan as the bowling consultant for overseas tours but the appointment was later cancel.

Zaheer Khan can be the perfect coach who can work with Team India in the all-important ICC event.

      Yuvraj Singh

      Fielding Coach

Yuvraj Singh revolutionise fielding in Indian cricket with Mohammad Kaif.

These two youngsters would put in extraordinary dives and leave everyone impress with their efforts.

Yuvraj Singh will be the perfect pick to give fielding coach to the present generation of players.

He can also teach them some power-hitting.

Yuvraj Singh, the first batsman to hit six sixes in T20I cricket, was a force to reckon with in his prime.

With power-hitting becoming an important aspect of ODIs as well, there is no better player than Yuvraj to give these valuable lessons to the players.

Kapil Dev, India’s first World Cup-winning captain to the coaching staff will be morale-boosting for the players who grew up listening to Kapil Dev’s heroics in the 1983 World Cup.

It was only due to India’s win in the WC that cricket became popular in the country.

As a mentor, Kapil Dev’s role will be to focus on the psychological aspect in a high-pressure tournament like World Cup.
