WhatsApp Launch channels in 2023, WhatsApp channels gives a new way to communicate with followers. Same as Instagram broadcast groups, this feature allows users to create dedicated groups where only the admin can communicate and send messages and followers can react with emojis.
Also, Meta has actively working on enhancing WhatsApp channels with new updates, including the latest one, a feature call as “Automatic Album.“
As per one WhatsApp tracker, WhatsApp is testing this new album feature in its beta version 2.23.26.16, available via the Google Play Beta Program.
Same to individual and group chats, WhatsApp channels will now automatically create albums when multiple images or videos are share consecutively.
This feature is currently accessible to some beta testers and is expect to reach a wider audience soon.
How will Automatic Album Feature Work?
When available, Automatic Album feature will simplify the organisation of media within channels.
Whenever admins share multiple consecutive images or videos, WhatsApp will automatically group them into a single album.
This will not only enhance the visual presentation of content but will also improve accessibility for channel followers.
This feature is also said to be a noteworthy update, as it will allow users to conveniently tap on the automatic album to access the entire collection, simplifying the navigation of share media content and reducing reliance on individual message bubbles.
Also, another key feature of the Automatic Album is its support for channel reactions within share albums.
This new feature enhances the interactive experience for users, allowing them to express their thoughts and emotions directly within the context of the media content.
