iPhone 15 series is expect to be launch on 12th September 2023 at an event call as ‘Wonderlust‘ that will take place at Apple Park in Cupertino, California. Starting at 10 AM local time, the event will also be live-stream on apple.com and the Apple TV app.
iPhone 15 Series to Go On Sale in India the Same Day or Few Days After Global Launch
Ahead of the launch, a report now suggests that the iPhone 15 models will go on sale in India on the same day or just a few days after the global availability of the phones.
To promote electronics production in India, the government has start providing a number of incentives to mobile, laptop, and semiconductor manufacturers.
This not only contributes to the gross domestic production of the country, but also helps in the creation of multiple jobs within the production and distribution sector.
As per report suggests that the iPhone 15 models that are to be manufacture under the Make in India scheme, may be available in the market around the same time as the global release of the products.
The units are said to be manufacture in Apple assembler Foxconn’s Chennai factory.
The report also said that last year with the launch of iPhone 14, the made-in-India units went on sale within 10 days of the global launch.
This year the company expects an even lesser time, if any and Apple will have the Chennai-based Foxconn manufacturing unit first serve the local Indian market and then be consider for export.
Government recently impose restrictions on the import of many electronic items like laptops, tablets, and personal computers.
The restrictions were to be effective immediately starting in the first week of August, but have now push back by three months and clearance of import for certain electronic items will be require from 1st November 2023.

New Leak Claims That iPhone 15 Ultra Might Be The Fifth Model This Year

The iPhone 15 Pro Max will come with 6GB RAM and up to 1TB of storage.
iPhone 15 Ultra variant will max out at 8GB RAM and 2TB storage.
Also, it will also feature improve cameras compare to the regular iPhone 15 Pro model.
But it look that the higher RAM, storage, and camera improvement are the reasons why it makes sense for Apple to launch the iPhone 15 Ultra.
The tipster also adds that the iPhone 15 Ultra variant could cost $100 more than the iPhone 15 Pro Max model.
