      WTC 2025 : Team India’s Away and Home Series Schedule For WTC 2023-25 Cycle

      India gain yet another disappointment in an ICC tournament final when they were defeat by Australia in the final of the World Test Championship (WTC) by a huge 209 runs. India have lost their second straight final in the WTC having lost the previous final to New Zealand in the WTC Final 2021.

      Now India will look to shrug off this disappointment and look to qualify for the next final of the World Test Championship that is to be held in 2025 at Lord’s.

      But to qualify for the WTC Final 2025, India needs to perform well in the Test Matches in the 2023-25 cycle.

      Before the start of play on Day 5, the schedule for the 2023-25 WTC Cycle was announce.

      India will play West Indies a month after the defeat of the WTC 2023 final.

      Team India will then head to South Africa later 2023 in December where they will play 2 Test matches.

      India will host England for five Test matches in January 2024 follow by 2 Tests against Bangladesh in September and three tests vs New Zealand in October.

      Team India will then go to Australia at the end of 2024 for the Border-Gavaskar, where they will play 5 tests starting November.

      India’s Schedule for the WTC 2023-25 Cycle

      • West Indies vs India – 2 Tests – July/August 2023
        • July 12-16: 1st Test – Windsor Park, Roseau, Dominica
        • July 20-24: 2nd Test: Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad
      • South Africa vs India – 2 Tests – December 2023 to January 2024
      • India vs England – 5 Tests – January/February 2024
      • India vs Bangladesh – 2 Tests – September/October 2024
      • India vs New Zealand – 3 Tests – October/November 2024
      • Australia vs India – 5 Tests (Border-Gavaskar Trophy) – November 2024 – January 2025

      If Team India manage to finish in the top two of the World Test Championship table after all these games, then they will qualify for the WTC Final at Lord’s in June 2025.
