So if you lost a your copy of Aadhaar then firstly file an FIR with your local police station.
Then after you can retrieve your Aadhaar easily.
To retrieve your Aadhaar you need the below information:
- Your Aadhaar Number or Enrolment ID or Virtual ID
- Your Aadhaar Registered Mobile Number or Email Id
If you have registered your mobile number or email id in Aadhaar record then you can easily retrieve your lost Aadhaar UID number.
Once your Aadhaar number or Enrolment ID is sent to your registered mobile number.
You can easily download the e-copy or order a reprint of your Aadhaar.
How to Retrieve Lost UID or EID Number
Follow These Steps :
- Visit official UIDAI website
- Select My Aadhaar option on home page.
- Then select Retrieve Lost or Forgotten EID/UID.
- Select any Retrieve Aadhaar UID Number or Retrieve Aadhaar EID Number
- Enter all the required details like Name, Email id, Mobile number
- Enter the captcha for verification
- Click on Send OTP option.
- An OTP will come to your registered mobile number
- Enter the OTP
- Click on Login
NOTE :
- You can submit the request for lost Aadhaar UID/EID retrieval on the UIDAI website.
- You can also recover your Aadhaar enrollment ID by dialing the helpline number ‘1947’.
