      I am Hurt : Mohammed Shami reacts on Mitchell Marsh’s Disrespectful Act After World Cup Win

      Mohammed Shami slam Mitchell Marsh after a picture of the Australia all-rounder keeping his feet on the World Cup trophy went viral. Mohammed Shami said that he is deeply hurt by Mitchell Marsh’s lack of respect for the World Cup trophy.

      As Mohammed Shami had a stellar World Cup as he end the tournament as highest wicket-taker, with 24 to his name.

      He bag a total of three 5-wicket hauls and a 4-for in the campaign.

      Mohammed Shami said :

      “I am hurt. The trophy for which all the teams in the world fights, the trophy which you want to lift over your head, keeping a foot on that trophy did not make me happy,”.

      As Mohammed Shami did not play the first four games for India and was only draft into the playing XI after Hardik Pandya was rule out of the tournament following an injury.

      He reflect on his absence from the initial matches and said it was tough sitting on the bench but also adds that the team’s stunning performance made him happy.

      Mohammed Shami said :

      “When you sit out for four matches, you need to be mentally strong. Sometimes you are under pressure but when you see the team performing well and going in a good direction, it gives you satisfaction,”.
