International Cricket Council on 9th August 2023 announce a new schedule for the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023. As a good news for cricket fans, the blockbuster clash between India and Pakistan will now take place on 14th October 2023 instead of 15th October 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
As many as 3 matches of former champions Pakistan and 2 matches of 2-time champions India at the 2023 World Cup have reschedule due to logistical issues. The much-awaited revise fixtures were confirm with the global body changing the dates of as many as 9 matches.
The World Cup will get underway on 5th October 2023 and the final will be play on 19th November 2023.

As per report, the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) had urge the ICC to reschedule the England vs Pakistan game, originally schedule for 12th November 2023, as it coincide with the Hindu festival of Kali Puja.
As a result, there are 3 changes to the schedule toward the end of the league phase.
The double-header encounters on 12th November 2023 being move a day earlier to 11th November 2023, Australia vs Pakistan in Pune (10:30AM) and England vs Pakistan in Kolkata (02:00PM).
India’s last league game against the Netherlands has now shift from 11th November 2023 to 12th November 2023, a day-night clash to be play in Bengaluru.
