      Tata Motors Launched Updated Tata Tigor EV in India

      Tata Motors has launch the new Updated Tata Tigor EV sedan with an extend range of 315 km (ARAI certified). The update version also adds some new tech and features to the car. The Tigor.ev is now available in a new Magnetic Red color option.

      The Updated Tata Tigor EV gets additions like leatherette upholstery, leather-wrap steering wheel, rain sensing wipers, auto headlamps and cruise control.

      New Tata Tigor EV also offers more tech with smart enhancements like multi-mode regen, connected car technology- Zconnect, smartwatch connectivity, iTPMS and tyre puncture repair kit which will be offer as standard across the range.

      Variants wise Price

      Tata Motors is extending a free of cost feature update pack to current Tata Tigor EV owners through a software update.

      Customers can get their vehicles upgraded with Multi-Mode Regeneration, iTPMS and Tyre Puncture Repair Kit. Additionally, the existing XZ+ and XZ+ DT customers can also get a Smartwatch connectivity upgrade.

      This service can be avail by visiting any Tata Motors’ authorize service center starting 20th December, 2022.

      Tata is now offering the Tigor EV with the choice of three exterior shades, namely Magnetic Red (new), Daytona Grey and Signature Teal Blue.

      This is the only cosmetic change as part of the sedan’s update.

      Mechanical Specifications

      The New Tata Tigor EV delivers a peak power output of 55 kW and a peak torque of 170 Nm.

      New Tata Tigor EV is power by a 26-kWh liquid-cooled, high energy density battery pack and an IP67 rated battery pack and motor to make it weather proof.

      It also gets the option of a dual-tone finish with a black roof in the new top variant.

      This electric sedan is now also being provide with leatherette upholstery, rain-sensing wipers, leather-wrap steering wheel, auto-headlights and cruise control.

      A tyre pressure monitor, puncture repair kit, connect car tech with smartwatch connectivity and multi-mode regen are now being offer as standard on the Tata Tigor EV.

      Most practical improvement with the update has come in the form of a bump in the ARAI-claim range figure.

      Tata Tigor EV can now do 315km, up from 306km before the update.

      Tata Tigor EV continues with the same 26kWh battery pack and the same 75PS electric motor.

      The increase range might be thanks to the new multi-mode regen that can help improve the EV’s battery-regeneration ability for a few extra kilometres.

      Tata Tigor EV battery can still be charge from 0-80% in 8.5 hours using a standard wall charger and in 60 minutes using a 25kW DC fast-charger.

      Shailesh Chandra claims that the New Tata Tigor EV receive a tremendous response as it garnered over 20K bookings in just a month since its launch.

      He further explain that the new version of the Tigor.ev has update with more tech and premium features.

      Tata has analysing the insights on the customer driving pattern receive from the 600 million kilometers cover on Indian roads.
