      Why Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir May Get Soil from Thailand | Answer Inside

      Ram Temple in Ayodhya is in completion phase and the whole country is waiting for its grand opening in 2024. In a special gesture ahead of the inauguration of Ram Temple in Ayodhya, soil from Thailand will be sent to Ram Janma Bhoomi.

      The Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla will be held on 22nd January 2024.

      The many tent cities are being erect in Ayodhya to accommodate around 80,000 devotees who are expect to arrive in the temple town for the grand event.

      Susheelkumar Saraff, president of the Thailand chapter of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) said :

      “We have already sent water from two rivers of Thailand for Prabhu Shri Ram’s temple there. Now, we will send soil from here. Thailand has a deep cultural connection with India. It will only strengthen further. Govind Brij Maharaj has come here. We are going to hand over the soil to him to take it to Ayodhya,”.

      As Swami Vigyanananand, founder and global chairman of World Hindu Foundation (WHF) and chief organiser of World Hindu Congress, had said the Ram Temple consecration ceremony will be telecast live in Bangkok.

      Swami Vigyanananand adds that Hindus from across the globe will converge at the event, engaging in kirtans, bhajans, puja, and recitation.

      Swami Vigyanananand said :

      “We have order prasad from Ayodhya. A replica of the Ayodhya temple has been built here. We have also brought an image of the birthplace of Ram Lalla from Ayodhya. Copies of the image will be share with all the delegates. The festive ambience in Ayodhya ahead of the consecration of the Ram temple should be spread across the world.”

      “Across the globe, wherever there is a Hindu temple or a thriving Hindu community, all the followers of our faith will participate in kirtans, bhajans, puja, and recitation at a specified time on January 22, next year. The devotees can catch the consecration live from Ayodhya on giant screens across the globe and also take part in a havan, puja and recitation wherever they are. We will experience this grand event together. Hindus worldwide will create a festive ambience in their own special ways and all religious people will immerse in celebrations”.

      As it is believe that Lord Ram did not visit Thailand but the Ramayana has had a significant impact on many cultures in Southeast Asia, including Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Laos.

      In Thailand, the Thai version of the Ramayana is known as the Ramakien or Ramakirti.

      The story has adapt and integrate into Thai art, literature, dance, theater, and even in the architecture of temples and palaces.

      Thailand’s respect for the story of Lord Ram is believe to have its roots in the share culture between ancient India and Thailand.

      Hindu-Buddhist influence has part of the religious landscape in Thailand since at least the 11th century.

      The Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust has decide to enthrone Ram Lalla at the sanctum-sanctorum of the Ram temple between 12 noon and 12.45 pm on 22nd January 2024.

      Prime Minister Narendra Modi is schedule to inaugurate the Ram Mandir.

      Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also invite by members of Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust to the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at the Ram Temple.

      The foundation stone for the construction of the Ram Temple was laid by PM Narendra Modi on 5th August, 2020.
