UPDATE : How to Use UPI, RuPay, Netbanking as Payment Options on App Store, iTunes

Apple has launch three new payment modes for App Store users in India. The new payment modes include united payments interface (UPI), RuPay, and netbanking. App Store and iTunes users could only use credit and debit cards.

These payment modes come in handy when you’re looking to buy apps on the App Store or make in-app purchases as well.

This addon is also useful when buying music on iTunes.

Apple sent out notifications to App Store users that they can now make payments using UPI, RuPay, and netbanking.

Apple advises users to be on the latest version of iOS, iPadOS, or macOS to be able to see these new payment options.

How to Add Payment Method on iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch?

Follow These Steps :

1. Goto Settings on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch.
2. Tap on your Apple ID.
3. Select Payment and Shipping option.
4. Apple will ask you to sign-in once again for security purposes.
5. To add a new payment method.
6. Tap Add Payment Method.
7. Follow the steps to add UPI, RuPay, or netbanking details.
8. The payment method below your Apple ID is use for purchases on the App Store.
9. Tap on Edit on the top right corner to reorder or remove a payment method if required.
10. Users can keep multiple payment methods with their Apple ID.

How to Add Payment Method on Mac?

Follow These Steps :

1. Open the App Store.
2. Click on the sign-in button.
3. Tap on View Information.
4. Click on Manage Payments.
5. Users may be ask to sign-in once again for security.
6. Click on Add a payment method.
7. Then go to Add Payment.
8. Follow the steps to add UPI, RuPay, or netbanking details.
