      Ola S1X Electric Scooter Launched in India with many New Announcement | Details Inside

      Ola S1X Electric Scooter Launch in India. The Ola also showcase its four electric motorcycles which will be launch towards the end of 2024.

      The Ola S1X Electric Scooter comes in three variants :

      • S1X with a 2KWh battery,
      • S1X with a 3KWh battery
      • S1X+ with 3KWh battery

      S1X+ variant comes with more features, company founder and CEO Bhavish Aggarwal said at a customer event held at Ola Future Factory in Krishnagiri (Tamil Nadu).

      Bhavish Aggarwal said :

      “We are working with speed and with a clear vision to support the country’s leadership in electrification. By developing core technologies in-house, and through adopting economies of scale, localized supply chains and manufacturing engineering, we will ensure complete price parity between ICE and EV vehicles.”

      Price in India

      • Ola S1X Electric Scooter with 2KWh battery price set at Rs. 79,999
      • Ola S1X Electric Scooter with 3KWh battery price set at Rs. 89,999
      • Ola S1X+ Electric Scooter with 3KWh battery price set at Rs. Rs. 99,999

      Ola S1X Electric Scooter comes with an introductory price of Rs 79,999.

      The Ola S1X Electric Scooter will be price at Rs 89,999 afterwards.

      The S1X variant with a 3KWh battery afterwards it will be sold at Rs. 99,999.

      The S1X+ afterwards, it will be price at Rs. 1,09,999.

      Customers can book the model immediately and deliveries will be by the end of September.

      Bookings will start immediately and deliveries will begin by December.

      Ola Electric also introduce the second generation S1Pro price set at Rs. 1,47,499 (ex-showroom).

      It can be book immediately, deliveries will start from mid-September.

      Mechanical Specifications

      Ola S1X and the S1X+ are differentiated in software and connectivity features.

      The Ola S1X has a range of 151 kilometres on a single charge and can reach the top speed of 90 km/hour.

      All three variants are power by a 6kW motor.

      The S1X+ and S1X (3kWh) feature a 3kWh capacity battery, offering an ARAI-claim range of 151km and a top speed of 90kmph.

      The S1X (2kWh) is equip with a 2kWh battery, providing an ARAI-claim range of 91km and a top speed of 85kmph.

      Ola New Announcements

      Ola Electric also showcase its four electric motorcycles, Diamondhead, Adventure, Roadster and Cruiser at the event.

      Bhavish Aggarwal said :

      “I am also thrilled to announce the global debut of Ola’s electric motorcycles that will be launched towards the end of 2024. Designed and engineered in-house, these motorcycles represent Ola’s leap into the future of motorcycling,”.

      These bikes will be built in India for the world.

      These motorcycles are set to be introduce by the end of 2024.

      The Diamondhead, a high-performance e-motorcycle, boasts a sharp and minimalistic design with distinct LED headlight and taillight strips.

      Expect to price at around Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom), the Diamondhead will serve as Ola Electric’s flagship product.

      The Adventure, position as an electric ADV, features a tall seat height, an integrated high-rise fender and tank design, substantial windscreen, upside-down (USD) fork, and spoked wheels.

      The Roadster has the styling of a naked bike, characterized by a slim headlight unit, upright riding stance, mid-set footpegs, USD fork, and a monoshock.

      And the Cruiser, it has a more relaxe riding posture with forward-set footpegs.

      The Diamondhead, Adventure, Cruiser, and Roadster are project to be price at appro. Rs 3 lakh, Rs 2.7 lakh, and Rs 2.5 lakh (all ex-showroom) respectivily, when launch.

      Ola MoveOS4

      Ola also introduce its MoveOS4 update with over 100 enhancements and more than 20 new features, including Ola Maps, hill descent, find my scooter, Geo and time fencing. 

      The upcoming MoveOS 4, which will receive a beta version via over-the-air (OTA) update starting from 15th September 2023, follow by the full-scale version in October.

      MoveOS 4 comes with a range of features, including Ola Maps, Hill Descent, Find my scooter, Location push, HC Routing, Megaphone, Concert Mode, Customizable motor sounds, Theft/Tow/Fall detection, Geo and time fencing, Take-me-home lights, Auto turn-off indicators, Ride and Energy Stats, Call Filter, Biometric unlock, Widgets, Dark Mode, and Scooter locator.
