The BCCI on 24th January 2024 announce the full schedule for the upcoming season of the WPL 2024 with Bengaluru and Delhi will be host cities for the 2nd season of the tournament.
WPL 2024 will span from 23rd February 2024 to 17th March 2024, with the 5 teams battling it out to reach the final.
The BCCI announce that there will only be singles headers for the season this time around, with all the matches starting at 7:30 PM IST.
Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium will host the initial 11 games and the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi will host the remaining 9 league matches with the two decisive playoff clashes.
The opener of the season on 23rd February 2024 will play between champions, Mumbai Indians against the runners-up from last campaign, Delhi Capitals.
This will be follow by Royal Challengers Bangalore playing for the first time in front of their home crowd at Chinnaswamy, and they will face the UP Warriorz.
The Delhi leg of the WPL 2024 will begin on 5th March 2024 with the home side Delhi Capitals facing the Mumbai Indians.
This will be the first time DC will be playing in front of their home crowd at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
Delhi will be having matches everyday until the league phase of the tournament comes to an end on 13th March 2024.

As like the 1st season, the table-toppers from the league phase will move directly into the final of the competition.
The teams finishing second and third will be facing off in the eliminator to decide the final of the edition.
The eliminator will take place on 15th March 2024 with the final taking place two days later.
