Indian Cricket Team is gearing up for their next assignment after winning a 4-1 over Australia in the T20I series. The upcoming series is a full-fledge series against South Africa, starting from 10th December 2023.
Indian team will travel to South Africa, where they engage in all three formats, which starts with the T20Is.
With the T20 World Cup 2024, the management have focuse on young guns as Suryakumar Yadav will again be seen leading a young side.
Premier all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja will be his deputy and apart from him only Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer, Ishan Kishan, and Mohammed Siraj are the other players, who were part of the ODI World Cup, where India finish as the runners-up.
The T20Is will be follow by the 50-over format, which Suryakumar Yadav is not a part of.
KL Rahul will be the skipper of the side and senior likes of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are not consider for the white-ball format.
The tour will finally conclude with a two-match Test series, which will also mark the return of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma after the ODI World Cup.
Senior pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami too return for the red-ball format, which is expect to be a tight affair given the South African conditions.
